Being from the punk scene, I was always pretty anti-rap. But that was because when it first really hit the scene is was laced with corporate influences. I used to like RunDMC, but the closest thing we had in the Christian world was PID (Preachers in Disguise) who had a really cool song that listed the different books of the Bible, and DC Talk's early stuff.

Most modern rap, I'm not too fond of. Not really because of the sound, because in many cases it's become a very slick thing. I just look at it as the musical version of wrestling. It's fake most of the time. They try so hard to create a really horrible, evil image, that makes them really bad role models. But the images are nor more real, than the fake corporate crap that came out with Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer, and even the modern R&B stuff from N-Sync and Backstreet Boys.

That being said, what I saw in that video falls much more in the lines of TRUE R&B and I have a lot of respect for that. It was way too musical to be JUST rap. I liked it a lot.

well thank you. they are classified as rap but they are real rap "Rhyme And Poetry" they talk about god alot and real issues. i also like punk rock and metal too so people are alway's "how can you like bolth?"

here is another song by them called "change the world" i like how they symbolize the innocence in all people by touchung the criminals and turning them back into kids. this song is touching, it also features rapper "flesh-n-bone" a brother of one of the members who was given 11 years in prison for attempted murder or somthing, this song is basicly the mark of his changing way's. my favorite part is "if we cant save our selves then lets save the kids"
