Sin not?

Have you ever read 1 John 3:9 and wondered how can one who is a believer not sin.

No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature (seed.... 1 Peter 1:23) abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God.

Being that the Holy Spirit lives in us... He is constantly trying to get our attention, to lead, guide and correct our ways so that we can stay connected with The Father and His ways, and also to keep us repenting (turning) from the sin... and gravitating towards righteousness.
Striving to keep our ways pure.

One who has truly given their hearts to the Lord will sense and obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit to do what is right, and to stay in the Word so as to keep learning what the right ways are. Mt 6:33 ampc... seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (ways of doing and being right) and all these things will be added unto you

1 Peter 1:23 says the we were born again of incorruptible seed. And as we see in 1 John 3:9... when we truly give our hearts to Christ... God's seed or nature abides/remains in us.

Now we do have the responsibility of working to enter into the rest of His Word (Heb. 4:1, 6) and making sure to spend time renewing our minds to the Word (Romans 12:2), so that we may remain united and abiding to the true vine (John 15)... but essentially it cannot all be done without the Helper that Jesus sent to live inside of us (John 14: 15-17). Confirmed in Philippians 2:13 ampc... not in our own strength

[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.

God loves you, and so do I

Be blessed in all you put your hand to.

For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).

For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.

Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?

We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God (Jesus via the Holy Spirit) carefully watches over and protects him [Christ's divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him or touch [him]. Or as the kjv says... the wicked one touches us not :)
