My dear sisters and brothers, greetings. Hello

Hello my dear sisters and brothers.

I am not a newbie to Christian online forums. I have 6 months of experience "under my belt," so to speak.

I hope that CFS will be my new online home, a Christian community that I can call my "home on the Internet."

I am looking for thoughtful discussions on how Jesus followers can actively show the incredible love of Christ Jesus to everyone around them in very tangible ways.

About Me

I am an Asian-American, proudly born and raised in the United States. I am in my late 30's. Although I attended Christian churches from the time my mother gave birth to me, I became a New Creation in Christ Jesus this year (2017). About one month ago, God began to do something in my heart. So far, the journey that God has led me on has been simply wonderful. All glory to God our Father!!

4 months ago, I moved out of my dad's house. I live just 5 miles away from my parents. I live in a house that is managed by a Christian ministry. I am living with 4 men who are in different places in their journey with our Lord Jesus.

My church background

I grew up in Korean Presbyterian churches here in the United States (although I did attend a Korean Baptist church for a few years when I was a high school student). Earlier this year, I permanently left Korean churches.

Although I grew up attending Presbyterian churches, I am now a member of a wonderful little multi-ethnic Nazarene church.

My church family is composed of Cubans, Latinos, Caucasians and one Asian (me).

Career Goal

I hope to be employed as a case worker, licensed counselor or licensed therapist because my passion in life is assisting those who are experiencing emotional pain and suffering.

Hello Love is a Verb;

Love is a Verb, indeed! Thank you so much for sharing your story, your testimony for Christ. Now we know how to pray for you and the new directions God is giving you.

My prayer is the Lord's time and vision for your ministry at the church you are now worshiping. My prayer is for the employer who is seeking you and how God will bring you both together for His glory.

Thank you, Jesus!

We look forward to sharing more with you.

God bless you, Love is a Verb, and your family!

Hello Truthfrees;

I'm blessed by your gentle spirit and uplifting welcome, brother, besides your posts which I enjoy reading.

My wife and I experienced many years ago when we walked in a new church for the first time. The usher made us feel loved and welcomed. Today I still remember the usher's greeting. His warmth went a long way with us.

God bless you, Truthfrees, and your family.
