The Price Of Food: 2007 Versus 2008
Check out the rise in food prices.
Sadly in an effort to appease the public without accomplishing anything it was decided to make ethanol out of corn and other grains. In fact it has served only to dive up the price of food for human an livestock alike. In some places it means stretching your budget- in others it means starvation and death.
The sad part of it all is this- it takes more energy to produce ethanol than the ethanol actually produces.

iv,e been reading a little on tidal energy,seems like the logical solution.the only downfall would be if the moon stopped spinning around us.
