On the brink of War

Israel is on the brink of War with Hezbollah and possibly with Syria.
I pray for the Shalom peace of Jerusalem, but I look forward to conflicts over there currently because every new war or rumored war in the Holy land only proves the Bible and Jesus' very words to be correct.

It's good ammunition against the skeptics when the world can see events taking place that were prophesied 2,000 years ago.

Does it prophesy this very specifically? Where?

This was the response Jesus gave when His disciples asked Him for signs of the end of the age. (He gave many more signs than this, but this specifically deals with my original post topic)

Matthew 24:6
"6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come."

Although seeing wars and rumors of wars is not the end of the world, it certainly brings us that much closer. Not to mention proves Jesus' word to be accurate and true!
