This was brought home to me in a Bible Study I did a little while ago. Actually, its amazing, when you consider that even something you hate might become an idol, if it manages to get your attention away from the Christ and what He did on the cross. For instance, if I spend all my time worrying about terrorism, instead of trusting in Jesus to give me the victory, then that's an idol.
My daily prayer is that the Holy Spirit will ever help me keep my eyes on Jesus! Alleluia, Praise God!
