This is a recap of the Rules and Regulations that you agreed to during your registration. Please review this information BEFORE you post:

 Statement of Faith

 1) The Holy Scriptures, in it's original form, is the inerrant Word of God.
 2) There is only one God who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
 3) We are separated from God due to sin.
 4) God's Son, Jesus Christ, was born of the virgin Mary, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day.
 5) We can only be saved by repenting of sin, and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior by faith as stated in John 3:16. (The faith mentioned here will produce actions)
6)This salvation is provided by the grace of God. We cannot be saved through our own efforts, our works or by the intervention of man on our behalf.
Mission

The Christian Forum Site exists to build and empower Christians. This will be accomplished by:

1. Providing a friendly atmosphere for believers to discuss Biblical, theological and social issues in a rational manner.
2. Promoting and supporting mutual spiritual growth and biblical learning among forum Members.
3. Providing a place of fellowship and prayer for believers and non-believers.
4. Most importantly, Glorifying our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Forum Rules

Content of posts
Rule 1 All postings or messages express the views of the author, and not the owners of Christian Forum Site. The owners and staff of Christian Forum Site reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason. (Note: Staff includes Administrator, Moderators and Helpers)

Common courtesy
Rule 2.0 Let the Love of God and the Fellowship of the Spirit guide all you do and say.

 Rule 2.1 Common courtesy and civil dialogue is expected from all participants. Common courtesy is a generally understood concept and too broad to fully define here. In short, if you have doubt on whether you should say something, DON'T!

Rule 2.2 If someone disagrees with you do not immediately jump to the conclusion that they are not truly saved just because they disagree, there are differences of opinion in translating Biblical doctrine.

Unacceptable posts
Rule 3.0 Disruptions to the friendly environment at CFS by anyone will not be tolerated. Rules 3.1 and 3.2 below reflect the scriptural contents of Proverbs 6:16-19 (NLT) which states -

There are six things the Lord hates—no, seven things he detests:
haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that kill the innocent,
a heart that plots evil,
feet that race to do wrong,
a false witness who pours out lies,
a person who sows discord in a family.


Members may not post:
1. Messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, demeaning, threatening, repeated in many posting areas (spam) or otherwise violate any laws.

 2. Inflammatory remarks simply for the purpose of evoking reaction or starting fights with other Members, or promote a spirit of divisiveness in the community.

 3. Ad hominem attacks, a person may have a stupid idea, but that person is not stupid.

 4. Messages which elevate one Christian belief system over another. This is demeaning and belittling the beliefs of other Christians while promoting another system so as to create an atmosphere of superiority.

5. Unsubstantiated claims about any individual, including but not limited to teacher/preacher/pastor/minister/evangelist/media personality/political figure, etc.
ALL claims MUST be well documented.

6. Messages which refer to any political figure by name. News reports must be from a verifiable News source and all links will be verified by staff.
In all cases, Scriptural references should be posted whenever possible.

Posts in violation will be deleted and the Member warned or restricted.

False registration
Rule 4. Registration with false information is grounds for immediate and permanent restriction.

Moderator/Helper requests
Rule 5 All Members are required to immediately comply with any Moderator or Helper request.

If you believe a Moderator/Helper directive is incorrect you should not discuss it in the community. Instead send a private message to the Administrator or the Team.

Personal Details - Postal address or email address
 Rule 6 Do not give your personal details such as postal address or email address to anyone except the Administrator.

A Member may not ask other Members for the phone number, address, whether physical, email or instant message. If someone annoys you through email or PM, notify the Moderators or the Administrator immediately and we will notify the respective authorities about this behavior. Do not reply to unknown emails.

Links to other Websites
Rule 7. Our Forum contains links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are entering another Website for which The Christian Forum Site has no responsibility or liability. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on all such sites as their policies may be different from ours.

The Moderators/Administrator at CFS cannot possibly monitor all the numerous daily postings of off-site linking. Anyone visiting a site linked at CFS by MEMBERS does so at your own risk. Be especially wary of those sites which sell products, services or ask for donations. Again, the Staff at CFS takes no responsibility what-so-ever in the claims or statements made in ANY linked sites.

Please report postings here at CFS which contain objectionable material as well as objectionable material contained in offsite links posted by CFS members. Use the "Report Post" button below the poster's name to tell us about your concerns.

Rule 7.1. If any member wishes to place a link to any site that requests financial donations they must first obtain permission from our Administrator via PM to the Moderator Staff. This permission will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.

If permission is granted they must also post the following warning notice together with the link.

MODERATOR'S WARNING

 The link in this post goes to a website which solicits donations. Members are advised to be wary of ANY such requests and to research the group making the request and to PRAY before sending ANY donation.


Copyright Issues
Rule 8 If you would like to share music, a news story or article from another site or publication, please don't cut and paste the entire article here into your posts. The best way to share an article is to post the first few sentences of the article with a link to the rest, sum up the article in your own words and then post the link, or just post the link.

Please be advised that Christian Forum Site does it's best to monitor our site for violations of copyright infringement and/or plagiarism and that this warning is legal and binding. If you choose to violate any copyright/plagiarism laws, Christian Forum Site, its administrator and/or staff will in no way be responsible for any information posted on Christian Forum Site which violate said laws.
