Whether walking an hour a day or listening to song birds communicate, I love living in the Ozarks.
I prefer home cooked meals with bioavailable nutrients. I am familiar with my farmers, local and distant.
With guidance from the Holy Spirit, I am influenced by Ray Stedman and Chuck Smith. I also enjoy Canary Cry Radio. The Holy Bible, though, beats all. Opening the Holy Bible and reading Scripture is an everyday experience that trumps winning the lottery.
I would rather pass on this part.
With all of my struggles and weaknesses, with all my feeblemindedness and shortcomings (but not doubt), I hold on to the moment I accepted Jesus as my Savior, King, Prophet and Priest at the age of about 14. I had been raped twice for trying to keep a man from hurting an elderly woman. In a safer place, an elderly woman asked if I wanted to read and hear about Jesus and the gospel. I did and I met with this woman a few times. I read the NT for a couple of months. In prayer, as she led, I asked for forgiveness and asked Jesus to be my King.
That was a long time ago. Since then, I have had to repent.
