My husband, Carlos, and I have 6 children: Ana, 10 years old; Isaac, 9 years old; Alejandro, 7 years old; Gabriela (stillborn), with the Lord; Samuel, 3 years old; and Alayna, 5 months old. I'm a stay at home mom, hoping to start classes this coming year to become a doctor of natural medicine. I speak Spanish fluently and want to learn more languages still, but not sure which one to go for next. I play piano, violin, and sing...if only I could stop being so shy and use my abilities to serve the Lord. This is something I really want to do, but we are in the process of finding our church home right now; and of course, most churches want one to be a member to do special music or anything like that. What I enjoy most of all is studying to learn how to be more like what God would have me to be. I used to discuss Bible with my daddy all the time, but he was killed 3 months ago in a rehab center. He had just finished singing "No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus" when they came to move him back into bed and he was killed by their carelessness. I feel so sad that I've lost my best friend. He was a pastor, Christian counselor, singer, a wonderful dad and grandpa. We all miss him SO much. I know he is so happy now and I can't wait to see him again. It's so hard not having him to talk to anymore, but God is helping me learn to lean on Him more and teaching me to trust Him more completely.
