There is no shame in crying. God gave men tear ducts too. As a matter of fact I cried last night, while watching a dedication to 9/11. It is hard not to cry during time like that. I pray that you are blessed and that you do God's will in this matter. God bless, Johnathan

Bookworm,
I know you're right, but having the power to keep her out of jail, or allowing her to go is a huge burden for me. My lawyer is supposed to call me about now. I also talked to our banker again. The loan would not be a personal loan to me after all. It would be much like the original note under both our names |

Charlie, you are so kind hearted but BookWorm is right. Your wife is thinking of no one but herself. She'll gladly allow you to help her, but don't think she wouldn't try to run you through the wringer if you crossed her the wrong way! I believe that in God's eyes you have been very compassionate and far too understanding of her behavior. It is time to protect yourself now, not your wife who is being very selfish. Please don't allow yourself to look back and wish you had taken action sooner! Many blessings to you and may God keep His loving protection around you and your children. |

I know, Violet.....that's one thing about this whole ordeal, I have had much time to think. Probably too much. I am being careful not to give her any ammo to use against me in court. I get the kids on average 3 to 4 days a week(these aren't all full days, some just overnight). I am getting them after work to take them to church and they will stay with me till school in the morning and I am sure I will have them all weekend. I like to make sure they get to class/church as it is very important to me. Still waiting to hear from my lawyer to see what she has to say

Good for you about the kids and church. May I suggest you keep notes in a specific notebook on everything to do with your wife and children, including dates/times/conversations, etc.? People always regret when they don't do this. If your lawyer is not a prompt one, please find another. Again, I have been through all this and I know how things backfire on the good guy! |

Very good suggestion, and so you'll know I have been keeping a journal for a little over a month noting every detail. The kids just started their new wednesday class format tonight and both seem to really like it, which makes me very happy...

Never heard from my lawyer today, but her legal secretary did call saying she was in court all day but she would talk to her probably in the morning about it and get her to call me. This woman is supposed to be really at this kind of deal, especially representing men against cheating wives. I have had very good referrals for her...
