My wife, Ellen and I spent much of the Junior High years convincing our children not to date in high school. Our oldest told us we should have convinced everyone not to date until second year of college! Each one has in turn thanked us for not allowing them to date.

Parents, I encourage you to strongly consider building a case for not dating.

Good links. I think this will really help parents who have no clue how to handle these situations. I also honestly believe many teenagers will feel relief when they realize they don't have to "date". The whole concept of dating can be a pressure for young people. These are truly refreshing insights.
