SC I always thought that it was the other way around!!!

I think we all want peace and do not want to be controlled or manipulated in any relationship; especially our marriage. My dh and I have found that our differences really are delightful (it has taken him long enough to even admit that I was separate and individual)... he has learned that I am a strange animal and he likes me, he has always been wonderful!...

I believe that God has given men the desire to make a name (and home for their family) for themselves and we as women who love and support them want them to succeed. I think God made us that way if we would only cooperate a little more.

My husband admits that he is a waffle (thinks one square at a time) and I am definitely like spaghetti noodles with sauce on everything -multi-task

God made us the way He made us for a particular reason.

Yes, I am definitely a waffle and my wife is definitely a plate of spaghetti. Me and my wife have talked about all the different illustrations given by those three books and have grown to understand that we are the way we are and we are that way for a reason. Then we have grown from that knowledge and are always learning how to communicate.

We definitely have learned to keep a sense of humor about it.

it compares men to waffles (everything is separated and sorted into boxes) and women to spaghetti (everything intertwines and is connected) ... it was another interesting read for me.
Now that was a good one!

I am most definitely a waffle! ....

though I think the computer/window illustration is pretty strong as well.. between the two of them I think it is easier to grasp the difference...

My wife cannot throw her yearbooks away, because my ex-wife went to the same school and graduated the same year she did.

I guess more or less that doesnt count......

Hi everyone-

Both men and women are all individual and unique. You'll find both genders to an extent share many of the same reasons or abilities in differing areas. Male or female, we all grow up, developing our own individual ways of percieving the world around us, and how we also deal with and percieve relationships with others in all facets of them.

Some can have similarities, but not all will have the same motivation for them. Because God is unlimited, He instilled in man's creation a limited way he is created, with an unlimited variety of differences in our attitude- (perceptions). While this can appear similar, there are always differences. And both genders share this unique quality of God.

Either gender can be effected more emotionally, to some more logical. Each individual will demonstrate a particular level of both. But, individually, there will be differences in those levels. Those levels, depend greatly upon how each of us grows up and go thru experiences for how and why we do things. They shape the way in which we make decisions about every aspect we experience in life. And this is our attitude, not personality.

God bless!!

yes, but there are characteristics which transcend such a multitude of differences and they were specifically placed by gender for that gender to function in the role which God created them to.

Hey Slave,

This box of spaghetti, just let go of her waffle in life.. hardest thing I had to do.. but the Good Lord showed me so much..

so please pray for my healing time of this broken relationship. I have learned many lessons from God through the past 2 years. Praise the Lord for that!

Faithwoman..

Think I will just enjoy the boiling water of spagehetti right now before I try to add a waffle to the mix..lol.. Seriously , I am ready now to wait upon the Lord for who he has for me..enough living on my own agenda!
