Where is our faith?

Where is our faith? We proclaim to have faith in the second coming of Christ. When faith takes over our souls began to move through the unction of our holy spirit. It is this motion of the holy ghost that separates us from the world. For the soul of the world is dead in sin, and the world walks by sight, rather than by faith.

Yet, our souls have come alive through the blood of Christ. We have become new creatures, old things are passed away and all things are made new. We don't think or act as the world that is around us. The world should look at us as the reflection of Christ. The world hated Christ, and he told us that the world will hate us too if we pick up our cross to fall after him.

Christ walked by faith trusting in his Father's word. He disregarded everything that was around him. No matter how cruel the world treated him, his last words were "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do". We too must forgive the world as we began our walk of faith. We are in the world, yet not of the world.

So, it's time now for us to be like Christ. If we are ashamed to be as Christ, then he too will become ashamed of us. Let us not be ashamed to walk by our own faith.

2Cor5 [17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Amen!

Where is our faith?

How many of think way down in our hearts that if we are not popular, we can't be effective Christians? How many of us think that we have to draw a lot of attention to ourselves in order to lead people to Christ?

The most effective Christians I know are those who are the most Christlike in their attitudes. They do not give the devil any room to push their pride buttons. They are just out there doing the work of the Father and drawing people to Jesus.

You dont have to be famous to draw people to Christ. But if God has given a talent in you to speak in public, ofcourse you might end up being famous.

I like personal evangelism where we speak to the person face to face. Its like Jesus's conversation with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well.

.................
13Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
15The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."
16He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back."
17"I have no husband," she replied.
Jesus said to her, "You are right when you say you have no husband. 18The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true."
19"Sir," the woman said, "I can see that you are a prophet. 20Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem."
21Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
25The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us."
26Then Jesus declared, "I who speak to you am he."
(Read John 4:1-26)

Also the famous preachers and disciples dont necessarily have to be rewarded the most. Remember the story of the widow who offered small coins to the temple out of her poverty. Jesus says that she has put in more than all the others.

We dont have to compare our efforts with others because if we do for God as much as we can, our rewards will be far greater than anyone else's.

We are Christ in the earth!

We dont have to compare our efforts with others because if we do for God as much as we can, our rewards will be far greater than anyone else's.

How true, Jeff. What God wants is our obedience. And He'll give us the tools we need to do it! Praise God!
