Good Day, Friends; With Thanksgiving Day (in the U.S. and several other countries) only a week or so away, it is a tradition that we all gather once a year on Thanksgiving with our family and friends to a feast of turkey and all the trimmings and thank the Lord for our blessings. However I submit to you that we need to thank God for His blessings more then just once a year. We should all be thankful for the goodness, grace and mercy of God, and the Spirit of "thanks-giving" should be at the heart of our faith, love and worship of Him. Indeed, our worship of God shows our deep gratitude for the wonderful things He has done for us, and we thank Him for these blessings each day. May God Bless.

Thank you for the reminder.
God has really been showing me lately how being Thankful and Praising him in all things is a form of faith. I am learning to show my thankfulness every single day in the big things and the small things, regardless of what it is really. He has been teaching me and bringing to me the understanding of having a thankful heart. I do believe that Thankfulness and Praise work hand in hand and that encourages our faith / builds our faith / develops our faith / deepens our faith.

I have a lot of gratitude in my heart. Is gratitude the same as being thankful? I need to research this, now... Thank you, Pastor Gary.
