Happy Mothers Day

As we think about our mothers, and honor them this day Sunday May 14th, 2017, let's see what God has to say about them....

A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman–who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls. [Prov. 12:4; 18:22; 19:14.]

The heart of her husband trusts in her confidently and relies on and believes in her securely, so that he has no lack of [honest] gain or need of [dishonest] spoil.

She comforts, encourages, and does him only good as long as there is life within her.

She girds herself with strength [spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for her God-given task] and makes her arms strong and firm.

Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]!

She opens her mouth in skillful and godly Wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness [giving counsel and instruction].

She looks well to how things go in her household, and the bread of idleness (gossip, discontent, and self-pity) she will not eat. [I Tim. 5:14; Tit. 2:5.]

Her children rise up and call her blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied); and her husband boasts of and praises her, [saying],

Many daughters have done virtuously, nobly, and well [with the strength of character that is steadfast in goodness], but you excel them all.

Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!

A mother is a special gift from heaven above to her husband and children. And on this special day, The Staff at cfs would like to take the opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to all the mother's of each family for all that they do, and to encourage each one of our members to uplift your mother today, tomorrow and everyday from now on. Telling and Showing them how much you have appreciated the sacrifices they have made to make each and every one of our lives better. Encouraging us all to be the best person we could be.

Knowing that they did the best that they could with what they had to work with. They gave wholeheartedly and without complaint, to love and care for each one of us, to give us the best possible start for our futures. Praise God for them!

God bless you all abundantly with grace, peace and joy.

As I wrote the above, God impressed upon my heart to address three other situations that are present on this day. Things that make this day difficult to bear for the mother or the child.

Those hearts of the mother's who carry guilt for not being the perfect mother, or the pain of having lost a child, no matter what the reason.... and the children who carry around bitterness for the hurts that surround their upbringing.

As the Holy Spirit spoke through John in 1 John 1:9... when you confessed those sins and mistakes to Him, He forgave you and cleansed you from all unrighteousness. So its time to forgive yourself for the past mistakes and allow the washing of the water of the Word to cleanse your conscience from the pain of the guilt and condemnation that the enemy is responsible for.

And Keep your trust fully in the Lord, for He will hold your prayers for your children near to His heart and will send His people to minister to their hearts, and draw them unto Himself... For He loves them more than we could ever think possible.

Please allow me share with you 3 passages in Scripture that have ministered to me greatly....
When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you?
She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more.
John 8:10‭-‬11 AMPC

Fear not, for you shall not be ashamed; neither be confounded and depressed, for you shall not be put to shame. For you shall forget the shame of your youth, and you shall not [seriously] remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.

For your Maker is your Husband–the Lord of hosts is His name–and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth He is called.

In a little burst of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with age-enduring love and kindness I will have compassion and mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer.

For this is like the days of Noah to Me; as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you or rebuke you.
Isaiah 54:4‭-‬5‭, ‬8‭-‬9 AMPC

And He will establish you to the end [keep you steadfast, give you strength, and guarantee your vindication; He will be your warrant against all accusation or indictment so that you will be] guiltless and irreproachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:8‭-‬9 AMPC

Hear my heart O downtrodden woman... grieve no more, accept condemnation no more, for God has borne your griefs and carried your sorrows. So rejoice and lift up your head for you have been cleansed from all wrongdoing by Jesus precious blood.

Son or daughter... God knows your heart, He knows Your hurt, and He desires for you to cast that burden over to Him, to allow that hurt that you carry to rest as His feet. For only in His love, and the release of your hurts to His justice, can you find healing.

Releasing your mother from the mistakes that she made in the past, in no way says that your hurts are not important or insignificant... it only frees you from the chains that keep you held captive to unforgiveness and bitterness. marianne-williamson-forgiveness-not-easy-peace-9c3f.jpg

And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32 AMPC
http://bible.com/8/eph.4.32.AMPC

To the most precious heart of all... the one who has had a child go on to heaven before them. God holds your heart in the very caresses of His loving and tender hands.

I know you miss them so very much, but rejoice for they are well taken care of, and the time for your joining them is not to far ahead on God's time table. For in God's time (a day to Him is like a thousand years) it will just be moments till you are reunited with your precious ones.

There is much for you to do for Him here, and then your off to see them. They are waiting, and cheering you on. They rejoice knowing that Jesus will be coming back to get His children, and that Jesus is doing what He can to keep you safe from all harm.

So please make sure you help Him, by spreading his love and comfort to others, and keeping your temple clean of all debris. For you are the very temple of the Holy Spirit, Whom is with you always, even to the end of your days.
