You Are Free

Imagine yourself a whole new person, full of joy and peace. This kind of imagining is faith in the grace of God that will bring you the kind of life God created you to live.
You have to in order to get there
Imagine...see...believing...knowing
Mark 11:22-25

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

So "imagine" how important this is.

Imagination is not faith, it's wishful thinking. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.

Mat 9:20.. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
Mat 9:21.. For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

This woman for sure "imagined" herself made whole, before she was made whole.

Exactly!
Think about it for a moment under law she was not aloud to be out there in her condition and Jairus was a ruler of the synagogue had the authority to have her stoned to death and was right there with Jesus.

That woman knew, imagined and saw her self made whole. That's why she pressed on until she hit her mark. (The hem of Jesus robe)
Blessing and good post and thread.

This seems to be a case of semantics. We each seem to have different views on the meaning of faith. For in my mind to know something is different to imagining it.

Hope is one of the "building blocks" of faith. Hope by itself can not be see it's desire, but what hope can not see, faith can. The hope that faith sees is the "schematic" to which faith uses to bring it to pass, which is why it is written. Faith is the substance of things "hoped" for, it is the evidence of things not seen.

Hi Dex,
To know something in your head is one thing. We call that knowledge.
To know something in your heart which is your spirit or core being is another.

Head knowledge can and will faint but knowing or believing in your heart won't faint for it "see's" the desired results as if it had already taken place.

You seem to be using the word imagine as less then knowing.
Jesus said believe you Received
How does one believe they received say a healing?

The see themselves healed or they imagine themselves healed and healthy.

You can believe God can heal you.
Head knowledge can and does leave you wondering if God will heal you.

That's doubt and not bible faith and brings little to know results.

However if you see it or imagine that you already have it then one will stand and not faint nor allow any one or thing get in their way of receiving.

Blessings my friend

Care to elaborate?

No, I'm not trying to be smart, I'm saying it doesn't matter if someone see's a point or not.
I have been writing in here for sometime if you care to read any of the threads then yes I'll elaborate and discuss anything concerning Christ.
