Sunday School help: Lesson on the Holy Spirit

Hi guys!

Yes, it's another thread on my Sunday School lessons but I swear it's the last one.

I said I still had two more lessons to prepare. One of them (the last one) is going to be about Christian groups and movements, I want to give them tips and ideas on how to continue their walk with Christ. Many kids abandon our faith as soon as Sunday School is over and I'd like to prevent that (or, at least, try).

For this week's lesson, I wanted to talk about Pentecost and the Holy Spirit. I love the Holy Spirit and I know He was the true teacher, not me, and I want to thank Him for all that He's done for me. I have no idea what to do, though.

It's not an easy subject, any thoughts on this?

I would cover,

Who is the HS
The role of the HS in the great plan of salvation
And the consequences of obeying/ignoring His influence

Thanks for your reply, MoG.

I gave the lesson today and I'm not sure what to say.

I mentioned Pentecost, I tried to explain who the Holy Spirit really is and I tried to explain the benefits of invoking Him. The kids also read a prayer to the HS, consulted an ebook on this subject and replied to a series of questions. I have no idea, however, if they realized how important the HS really is.

As always, we played a game in the end and they loved it but I sure hope they also learned something important today.

I love the Holy Spirit so much, it is amazing how much joy and how many blessings He can give us. And all we have to do is ask!:)
