Is this preacher doing it right?

I like what he says but he seems a little arrogant? He wont shake anyones hand and is almost yelling at them. He's definitely not a lukewarm or backsliding Christian but is his way of preaching good?

From watching it, I believe it is good intentions with wrong execution. He has some doctrinal issues when he's not shaking hands with others who aren't saved.
He does bring up great points though, especially about the rcc.

"The way he's doing it wrong is better than the way you're not doing it at all" Atleast he is zealous for the Lord, and desires that people hear the word of God. He's doing alot more than much of the Evangelical church today.

Agreed it makes me wonder. I don't have the courage to go out in public to preach like that. For me if someone comes up to talk to me at work than I usually get in the conversation about God . but I never shove it down their throats. But maybe that's the right way

There's a healthy medium. You should not preach the Gospel without including hell, but you should not tell somebody about their condemnation in hell without giving them the hope of Jesus Christ and Salvation. Again, it's not doing it the "right way" the Holy Spirit saves people and will work through you if you are walking with Christ.

I also firmly believe that we need to be honest as Christians what it means when you accept Christ. I feel too often we forget to mention the costs of following Christ.

You can preach the truth in an offensive manner and people will use that as an excuse to reject the gospel.
You can also preach the gospel for the wrong motive in competing with another preacher or church.
You can also preach the gospel with the right motive and by the grace of God in the Spirit of God.
Then it is the truth people are or can be offended with.

Confrontational Theology brings no glory to God but instead you see clearly that the man yelling is seeking the glory.
Not once did I hear the gospel presented. Therefore this is not preaching at all. It is arguing and no one ever got saved through arguing.

Very poor display of arrogance and judgment. Poor people can't even enjoy their lunch on the patio.

If I was an unbeliever, I'd try to rip him a new one. No, wait---I'm a believer and I'd like to rip him a new one! He is doing the Body of Christ a disservice. How is a person to come to faith in response to the message of love and hope? No, he is not speaking for Jesus. He is shouting for what he thinks are brownie points...it's carnal. In the end, when it is run through the fire, there will be nothing left of that stubble. No reward for him.

Even though the Gospel can be preached with not the right motives of the heart, the Apostle Paul was glad it was still being preached.

Php 1:15.. Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will.
Php 1:16.. The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.
Php 1:17.. The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment.
Php 1:18.. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice,

Amen. I like this guy ... I would never have the courage to go out in public crowded area with a megaphone and preach the way he does.

True but people who are unsaved don't know God. I think you should do it in a calm humble way with those type of people. Or as my priest says "shine your light"

Yeah that's what I was thinking preaching in any way is better than not preaching I just wished he would have came off more friendly. This is why people view Christians as snobby / crazy people.

I am sure Jesus would rather he be quiet for His Kingdom's sake.

Even preachers have to learn to preach and it the only way to do so is to preach.
You can't learn it In a seminar.
It's a pity that so few churches are out there preaching the gospel for the kingdoms sake.then young preachers would learn quicker!

If the people of God don't start preaching it then the very stones will cry out.
And persecution will come to a lethargic church that will scatter them to preach the gospel

Shine your light? I have no light of my own,
I am though supposed to be like the moon "to rule the night" and to bear witness I the darkest night when the moon still shines that the sun is still shining and there is coming a perfect day.
Bad news for those who love darkness more than the light, good news for them that sit in darkness .

You may not feel you have the courage but in the main we are more intended to go out to preach the gospel two by two minimum. Better still if the church gets out there on a regular basis and learns how to.
You still may minister one to one,but you should also learn to give your testimony. If more churches did so there would be more salt. And the devil would not get it all his own way simply because people do not hear the gospel preached and if they do not hear how will they be saved?
"And who will go for us"?

It's a good thing that the people of God are about His business, then.

Persecution will come, anyway.

I don't see love in what he's doing, Jesus always came from a place of love and zeal for the Father, we are called to love God with all our spirit, soul, body, hearts, mind, will, and emotions and to love our neighbor. If we go out and witness for God and have no love then we hurt the gospel more than help. Having said that though I know God loves us so much and loves this guy so much, all things will work out for the glory of God for those who love Him, my 2 cents, lol
