The Raptures (Harpazo) of the Scriptures

Those who made the rapture dream vids. claiming sep. In november we can ask them to make more for another day.

Look you guys are getting so wrapped up in this. Scripture says when we see these things we are to KNOW the end times are near but these things do NOT say we are in them or they are now. If you think this is bad as scripture talks about in those days...........you aint seen nothing yet sister.

We can ask them in October me thinks.

Jesus talks about men who claim to be Him. These are all deceivers. Many will follow them. Many "antichrists" will arise, according to 1 John. None of these are the A/C. Are the deceivers "antichrists" in the world today?

YES!

There have been liars, deceivers and Antichrists with us always. None of them however have been THE A/C.

THE A/C will stand in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem at the 3 1/2 year mark of the 7 year Tribulation and declare that HE is the Messiah. Then the world will know what we know today!

Blessing to you!

You bet! The devil doesn't know the timing so he's always got someone in the wings he can use when he realizes his time is up.

This new book titled, "TEMPLE" is absolutely an "investigative masterpiece" with outstanding archaeological and prophetic implications." Written by a famous American author, Robert (Bob) Cornuke. Bob is president of the Bible Archaeology Search and Exploration Institute (BASE), which is operated from his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and has a Ph.D. in Bible and Theology, both from Louisiana Baptist University. He is the author of several books about his explorations over the last 20 years.
Bob describes himself as a biblical investigator. He has participated in over 50 expeditions searching for lost locations described in the Bible and has traveled across Afghanistan during U.S. bombing strikes on a video and photographic assignment. He states, "After several years of biblical research sparked by the writings of the late Dr. Ernest L. Martin, personal investigation, and the study of ancient documents, I have come to the conclusion that the temple built by Solomon was not located where tradition teaches. This has tremendous implications regarding end-time events." Bob goes on to say: "The greatest archaeological blunder in all history has occurred by misplacing Solomon's Temple on the Temple Mount rather than its correct location within the City of David."

He asks if we can imagine the upheaval in political and religious thinking if the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is not the site of Solomon's and Herod's temples? And what if the stones of the Wailing Wall are not what tradition says? In this highly-researched and exciting book, Bob proposes from current archaeological excavations and Scriptural corroboration that the true temple location is not where tradition teaches.
Noted Bible teacher Chuck Missler (executive director of Koinonia House), recently accompanied Bob to the excavation site in the Kidron Valley. He states: "At first I was a skeptic, but the overwhelming evidence has convinced me of the true Temple location."
Dr. William P. Welty, Bible scholar and executive director of the ISV Foundation says, "One politically explosive implication of this evidence is that those who wish to rebuild the Jerusalem Temple can now do so without disturbing the Muslim-controlled real estate called the 'Temple Mount,' but construct it on its true ancient site."
University lecturer, Dr. Frank Turek, states: "I have been to the site with Bob Cornuke and, astoundingly, everything fits together biblically and historically."
"Temple" is said to be sending shockwaves through the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian worlds. For those of you who are serious students of Bible prophecy and want to fit together the pieces of biblical records, current geo-politics, and prophecy, this book of 207 pages will change your life!
Yep! And it fits! The temple wasn't on the temple mount... that's where the Romans lived. Josephus says you could not see the temple from the north of the city... disproves the idea it was on top, plus all the scriptural references of it being in the city of Zion...

"Take no thought"..=
Today has enough problems to be concerned over without worrying about tomorrow. The point Jesus was making was not that a Christian should adopt an attitude of apathy or laziness as a way of life (see: 2Th 3:10), but rather that worry is totally unnecessary for those who are cared for by God the Father.
If you say so Major....... lol.......to take a thought - how would you do this - you speak and this is why Jesus said take not thought SAYING..... ;)

Actually it was not me that said that. It was from the book by Charles Stanley....."The Glorious Journey".

My apologies for not saying that originally. I am just not that smart.

I keep thinking about God shutting the door to the ark 7 days before the flood started. Then I think of the Jews who should have known the time/season of Christ's 1st Coming and did not. I think how they did not separate the verses that spoke of His 1st and 2nd Coming. And I wonder about those who don't separate the verses that talk about the Harpaza and those that speak to the 2nd Coming. I don't know what will happen on 1 Tishri.....but I will be watching and listening.

I am thinking we need to amend our language and begin to simply use the word, harpazo instead of rapture, as rapture seems to rattle the sensibilities of English speakers.

Am I getting this right? Sunset is 6:48 pm Jerusalem time...my time 11:48 am? And is there a solar eclipse on 9/13/15?

Then of course I will do the same for 9/12/15.....one long day.

What I really find enjoyable about Missler is that he is so "by the book" literal or as he terms it "serious". And by so doing, he gives us little insights into where the HS shows us about the Harpaza/Gathering/Rapture/Catching us up. He points to Abraham offering up his son, Issac and what just about everyone sees is a foreshadow of Christ. But then he tells you to look closer because from the mount of the offering, Issac is not noted by name until he is brought together with his bride, Rebeccah (he is closed off for a few chapters). Who was brought to Issac by an unnamed servant (who is actually identified before the birth of Issac, as Eliezer a few chapters before). Unnamed servant=Holy Spirit (who also introduces Ruth to Boaz - an unnamed servant that is). And Eliezer in hebrew means comforter. Now add it all together and you get the foreshadow of the rapture. Abraham as a type of father - Issac as a type of kinsman redeemer and Rebecca as the gentile bride. Rebecca as the church.

All these teachings and theories on the Rapture are fascinating but I don't like to hear about exact dates. I believe it's a deception from enemy and the purpose is to ridicule Christians. Unless they got crystal clear instructions from the Lord Himself, these Brothers shouldn't say anything - not even post their dreams on YouTube.

Yes, the Rapture is near but 'near' could mean 1000 years. God knows no time limits.

Every generation since the Resurrection has thought their's was the last generation and Revelation is purposefully written that way. Ask yourself why. It was/is so because every generation needed to be ready, whether death intervened or no. I believe we are the last generation and that much I have directly from the Lord. Scripture tells us that God warns us through His Word and His prophets (in the Word) what He will do. It is up to us to see it. I plan on living my life and don't plan on not paying my bills or going on facts I don't have but I will be ready - today/tomorrow/September. I will be on high alert all of September but particularly from 9/11 onwards because I want to go home and I don't want to miss the door closing. If the date comes and goes, I will have lost no faith and I won't feel even an iota of shame. I don't care what others think of my "creduality" or "gullibility" because I know for sure He is coming. And I want to be with Him. I won't be out shopping for oil for my lamp when He calls. You can rib and tease me all you like come October...or not, as the case may be.

You very well could be correct, but not 1000 years though. Israel is in the land, Jerusalem is whole again, the dead sea is two seas for the first time and the lower sea is given to salt, Assyria is risen, Damascus is all but destroyed, and the signs are growing so fast I can't keep up with them.

Mat 24:33-34 KJV So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Except for the actual rapture, the only way to know the times are here are the arrival of the two witnesses and their death at the mid point of the seven years.

Question sister.

Do you think that they did not know about Christ's 1st Coming, OR do you think that they just rejected it ??????

Consider Matt. 2:4 and the question Herod asked of his Jewish priests........
"And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them, where Christ should be born?"

And the answer came from them that........
"And they said unto him, in Beth-lehem of Judea for thus it is written by the prophet".

THEY even knew WHERE He was to be born.

We too know a lot of facts, but when the time came they didn't believe in what they knew. They saw it happening but were blinded by their own beliefs, their own understanding, their own interpretations. Even those that believed and understood still asked if He was the One or if there was there another. This is why prophecy is of no personal interpretation. We do not have enough information to know it all, only enough to have faith.

Do you have any thoughts that they knew but rejected Him because they also knew that He would change their whole lives and would limit their opportunity to profit from their religion.

Jesus wept after He came into Jerusalem on that ass, while the people sang that Psalm that prophesized the Messiah. The people did not know He had come and then their eyes were blinded.

Luk 19:37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
Luk 19:38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
Luk 19:39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
Luk 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
Luk 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
Luk 19:42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
