Persecution

I was trying to tell the Gospel to this guy on Pokemon Showdown (I don't play Pokemon anymore, but there are a lot of young people on there) though a personal message and not only did he not allow me to finish, he humiliated me in the main chat. So I remembered that the righteous rejoice at the destruction of the wicked, and that comforted me.

Psalm 58:10
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

Proverbs 11:10
When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

Romans 12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Just some verses to think about when faced with persecution. Remember that persecution does not always have to be violent.

Persecution comes for the words sake. See Mark chapter 4

As i know that it is difficult to be humiliated...Matthew 5:44 is a good verse to stand on. As well as Mark 11:25. When we are offended it is a sin, and that is how the devil sets out to get us to open the door to him, and if the door is open then he sets out to steal the Word of God from your Spirit and mind. So the best thing to do is to immediately repent and turn the situation around in your mind. Saying that you forgive that person and asking the Lord to bless that person.

Love is a law of God and in Love all the rest of the ways of God rest. Think of it this way....love is a curtain rod, and faith and all the other things in God's ways hang on it like a curtain. :)

Blessings

Remember my brother.........it is NOT what he thinks of you, but what God thinks of you.

When someone makes fun of you and your efforts, be glad and look up because God is pleased with your efforts.

I like to think that the vengeance I will be able to rejoice at is when the our Father has His day over the enemy. It is hard for me to be glad or rejoice when a lost child falls further. This too me is counter productive to reaching them. But I can understand the emotions that would try to lead me away from hoping for another. Best to you ... Prayers
