Humans Are Created to be Christians

The understanding of the Bible has become an ordeal the average believer cannot handle. There are innumerable voices trying to tell believers what they should understand as they study the Scriptures. Sadly, many of these voices or trying to get people to believe what they believe or, worse, trying to get them to join their program. Nothing wrong with programs except when they take away the primary message of who you are. Surely the Heavenly Father never intended to leave our personal relationship with the Lord in our study of the Scriptures to others who may not know our needs or personal walk in the Lord.

It is my belief that any questions we may have with the Scriptures are best answered by the Bible alone. If we diligently search the Scriptures, they will explain themselves. The final gospel is most adamant about that. Paul, clearly lays out what we are to do about understanding the Gospel. He says plainly eight different times, in different ways, we are to follow him as he follows Christ. If we learn to do this most of our questions will be answered.

Four instance, in first Thessalonians, fifth chapter, verse 23, Paul speaks of man being tripartite. This means Paul taught that there were three parts to the human: body, soul and spirit. Jesus gave this information to Paul and instructed him to pass it on to us. Such an idea, coming directly from Christ to Paul, explains some of the greatest questions humans come up with. Forexample, what part of the human is saved? Certainly not the whole human is saved at one time. When a sinner believes on Jesus Christ immediately Christ is joined to their spirit (1st Cor. 6:17), not to their soul and not to their body.

Paul's meaning is clear salvation is man's spirit join to Christ's spirit, and, as a result Christ is all in all to the believer. We are never at no time Jesus Christ or any deity. At this point you must read the Scriptures clearly without the denominational glasses and see that we have been joined to Christ by a birthing. We now have a joint unto spirit.

It is not just a union, as some say. It is Christ being the life of the New Creature. This joining together in Spirit constitutes a new man; it's a new person with the old man and old life passed away. I know at this point some believers would like to keep the old man, but he has been crucified. So do yourself a favor and do not drag the old dead man around, it's a real burden you will find out.

This is more then a trip to heaven when a believer dies, it is the perfect work of God in completing the human being, Col. 2:10.

The Christ-Life fits the human who seeks to become all He is in his salvation. A human is created as a vessel to contain Christ.

Too Funny this reminds me of these older children vcr tapes we have around here. The donut man and of course we are like donuts and the whole or the center of the donut is to be filled by God.

I agree that we must learn from His written word and gain spiritual understanding of His written word and be very careful to what we allow to be planted into our thinking and hearts from others. However this does not excuse us from being under the authority if you will of a spiritual head which could be a pastor or spiritual father or mother.

What i am saying is we shouldpray and seek God for some one to help us learn and help teach us and guide us here as well as His written word and the Holy Spirit. God gave me a very Blessed Nadf God Loving man for a spiritual father. Her has helped me grow alot and I know I can trust Him for God is the one who placed me there and reminds me of things I have been taught.

Thank You Brother Noblemen for this post
God Bless YOU
Jim

Indeed! The bad news is that because of that we are prone to worship the wrong thing and that becomes idolatry because we do not read and accept and obey the Word of God.
Yep. Otherwise idolatry wouldn't exist. :p But then idolatry is equal to witchcraft which equals rebellion. :cautious: o_O ;)

I Would like to respectfully disagree in part with Nobleman's opening post. I do, of course, agree that studying the bible is the best way to learn truths about how our Lord wants us to live. However, I am not educated enough to understand its message on my own. I have depended on my minister and senior members of my church for guidance.

I agree with Fish Catcher Jim that praying for God's help in finding someone to help us understand His word is very useful.

I consider myself blessed that I have found not one, but several people in my congregation to help me in my journey.

A minister once pointed out that worship is part of man's natural being. Even the most isolated cultures will invent a god to address the emptiness within. Everyone worships SOMETHING. It may be money, it may be a social/political issue, it may be their self. Whatever they worship consumes them.

Christianity is the filling of that empty space with the uninvented real faith which perfects the whole man.

That's okay you don't have to agree with everything. The ministry is to help us all to grow up into Christ. There comes a time when ever believer will be led to move into the deep things of God which can only be revealed. The Holy Spirit becomes the only teacher at this time, His main ministry is to bring revelation to the believer and ultimately reveal Christ in you to you as your only life, Gal. 1:11-12, 1:15-16, 2:20, Eph 1:17-18.
Bless you

Agreed!

Rom.1:18-24
17"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves".

Thank you Nobleman, both for taking my comment in the spirit it was intended and for your response clarifying your thoughts.

I pray that I, too, will grow in understanding enough to learn from God's word alone.

God bless you too and thank you again.

Yes sir!

1 Sam. 15:23.......
"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."

Just to encourage you....the more time you spend reading the Word, and developing your relationship with Jesus, The Holy Spirit will help you to understand it. Especially where you desire to have the understanding. JESUS said if you have ears to hear...
Grace and peace to you in abundance

I agree with you Sharon.

One of the great problems in Christianity is when someone believes that they have reached the top of the mountain and they know more that does everyone else. They have then become unteachable and that is very, very sad,
