The Invisible War By Chip Ingram – Review

My rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Overall, this is your average spiritual warfare book. Mr. Ingram does a good job quoting scripture. He quotes Ephesians 6 and 1 John 4:4 a lot which moves from reminder to repetitive as a reader. He explains how to protect against the enemy and how to deal with him once he has reared his ugly head in someone’s life. Mr. Ingram compiles scripture, personal testimony and testimony of others to help make up this book. I would recommend this to beginners and intermediates studying spiritual warfare and aside from scripture itself, this is a must have for your personal library.

All you need is to learn your identity in Christ and what He's already accomplished. In life one-size does not fit all. Jesus is all you need. Start with Proverbs and then the Psalms and you'll have all the warfare info you need. Just MHO.

Indeed. I read these books more so to gather other people's accounts. One size definitely does not fit all, the only one that does is the Word of God. To anyone wanting to read books on spiritual warfare, I would caution you. Make sure you pray before buying any of these books; be sure you are strong in spirit; make sure you put on the full armor of God before reading them.

So some books I plan on getting right now with be Fear Of The Lord, The Cost of Discipleship, Sit Walk Stand: The Process of Christian Maturity, and the Ancient Book of Jasher. Might also get The Deeper Christian Life. I might also get a LCBP KJV Bible

I haven't heard of any of those, except the Bible of course ;) May the Holy Spirit guide you to new revelations through God's Word and works of the HS that support it.
