I thought I'd share it with you. It's from St. Josemaria Escriva.
"You're bored? That's because you keep your senses awake and your soul asleep."

That is profound. I needed to repeat it a few times in my head to grasp it .I thought I'd share it with you. It's from St. Josemaria Escriva.

I agree. I think this is where city people really miss out. There is nothing quite like sitting back and watching wildlife interact with each other in the mountains. I think this is the reason the city dwellers are generally just casual Christians, if there is such a thing.I think people today feel they need a rush or to always be doing something so they aren't bored. If we could just sit back and enjoy the beauty of God's creation and slow down a bit we would see that there is nothing boring about life that God has given us.

I'm rarely bored, I think. I'm generally thinking nothing profound though. I wish I was a great thinker.I thought I'd share it with you. It's from St. Josemaria Escriva.

I think I'm horrible company. The term "bored" does not compute for me. There is not time enough in one human lifetime for this. With the world's libraries at your fingertips, with just understanding the Bible... I do not need the world to be entertained, I keep myself great company.
This is the reason G-d invented camping for us city-folks!I agree. I think this is where city people really miss out. I guess, but it still doesn't seem like the same thing. I was thinking about how city folk go to zoos on occasion and see birds and an occasional tree and can still be atheists but it's rare to see someone that actually lives in the country that is atheist. The country people I've met that are atheists are so openly hostile towards Christians and Christianity as a whole I would say that they have some sort of other issue rather than just lack of faith. This is the reason G-d invented camping for us city-folks!
One of those things that hit you right between the eyes.. And all you can say is "hmmmmm.. That sounds right!"I thought I'd share it with you. It's from St. Josemaria Escriva.
