I've been to a lot of churches in my lifetime and I've yet to see one that WASN'T "Bible believing". What does this phrase mean?

Respectfully - if you approve of gay marriage (and I am neutral on the issue) - how does it make you any less of a Christian? I don't see how a person's opinion on that subject can affect the degree to which they are a Christian.There are some churches and "believers" who gloss over parts of the Bible so as to keep their own beliefs which fit in their preconceived world view. Among them would be those who approve and promote gay marriage, abortion, and other unbiblical views.
My guess is approving any sin would make one less of a Christian. Yes we all struggle with sin, but I think there is a difference when one approves it.Respectfully - if you approve of gay marriage (and I am neutral on the issue) - how does it make you any less of a Christian? No, in fact, I think you'll find the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was inhospitality.Do you remember when God spoke to Abraham concerning Sodom, and Gomorrah? God was getting ready to completely destroy this city because of their wickedness. Men having sex with other men, and Women with women.

Well, you're wrong. Throw away the Jack Chick tracts, they're doing you no favors.No it wasn't.
Yes, an agenda of being fair and balanced and not giving in to hate speech. No wonder you don't like it.That website is known for its agenda.
Let's clear this up now. A Christian is someone who follows Christ, and because Christ did the will of God the father, to disagree on homosexuality being a sin is in fact disagreeing with Christianity. A Christian wouldn't disagree with this because they want to follow the will of God. Homosexuality is made very clear in the Bible as sinful and against the will of God, so your viewpoint is in direct contrast to what a Christian would believe.Respectfully - if you approve of gay marriage (and I am neutral on the issue) - how does it make you any less of a Christian? To me it means they believe every thing in the bible, and doesn't cherry pick what fits their agenda. I like the way Francis Chan preaches, because he said it's important to read the word of God, and not just listen to what the pastor says, we have to know the truth for ourselves.I've been to a lot of churches in my lifetime and I've yet to see one that WASN'T "Bible believing". Do you seriously believe only homosexuals engage in sodomy?Where do you think we get the name "Sodomy" from?
2Pe_2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
Jud_1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Gen 13:13 Now the men of Sodom were wicked, great sinners against the LORD.

Well, I disagree with you. First of all it's far from clear that that's what the Bible says, there is a very good possibility the verses dealing with homosexuality (which wasn't even a WORD until sometime in the 1800s) were actually about male prostitution. Finally, I think we know a lot more about homosexuality now than we did when the Bible was written. The Bible is a lot of things but it's not impervious to modern science, mental health discoveries, and plain old common sense.Let's clear this up now. A Christian is someone who follows Christ, and because Christ did the will of God the father, to disagree on homosexuality being a sin is in fact disagreeing with Christianity. I see you disliked my post. Is this a grudge you're holding? Why are you on this site when you are just arguing against Christian beliefs? Yes I am referring to your other thread also. You have done nothing but argue and be hateful and immature the entire time I've seen you on this site.Do you seriously believe only homosexuals engage in sodomy?
Let's start with lesbians, one half of the gay population. Do THEY engage in it? I'm guessing not....that would be kind of difficult.
Let's move on to gay men. Not all gay men engage in it, not by a long shot.
And finally, straight couples. Do you think that no straight couples engage in it?
Once you process all this information, come back and tell me why you equate sodomy with homosexuality.
