To The Best Dad

To the Best Dad in the world: Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for all those times when I was hurting and you held me in your arms, and you comforted me with your love. Thank you for laughing with me and crying with me, too. It means the world to me how you have always treated me as special, honored and valued. Thank you for all your words of encouragement, hope and healing. I also thank you for your corrections, rebukes and disciplines in love, because you cared so much about me, and you did not want to see me wander off and go astray from your love.

Thank you for teaching me how to live uprightly, with integrity, in honesty, with kindness and consideration of others, and with compassion and mercy, too. Thank you for instilling in me godly values and morals. Thank you, as well, for giving me your passion and desires, and for setting the model for me to follow. Most of all, thank you for your salvation, for by it I have been set free from the control of sin over my life, I have been given eternal life with you in heaven, and I am free to walk in your holiness and righteousness in the power and working of your Spirit within me. You have blessed my life in so many, many ways. You are the best DAD EVER! I love you beyond words!!

I always think to myself what can I say to the Lord that he has not already heard many times from others, yet there is still that deep desire to express ones feelings to our Heavenly Father to tell him my thankfulness for what he has done and what he is still continuing doing. All I can do is stand in awe of his mercy, Glory, grace, and love with out saying a word.
Happy Fathers Day!!!

Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this.

A really great gift with words you have there Sue? Do you write/blog etc?

Yes, I do, but not of my own accord. The Lord Jesus called me 10 years ago to write what he shows me, to make it plain, and to give it to a runner who will run with it. Nearly two years later he made it clear to me that I was to write out what he teaches me from his word each day, and I was to place it on the internet (the runner), so that is what I have been doing for the past 8 years, nearly daily. The Lord Jesus puts a song in my mind and heart most every day. The songs (or hymns) always go with where I am reading in scripture. I read book by book and chapter by chapter, usually frequenting the writings of the prophets (including the Psalms) and all of the New Testament. I pray for understanding, and I ask the Lord to give me the words he wants me to share. And, then I post what he gives me on the internet. And, I trust him to use it for his glory and for his purposes, so all praise and glory belong to him for whatever gift he has given me for writing.

Thank you for your encouraging words.

Your gifting is so easy for all to see Sue, just reading your post was instant evidence of the Holy Ghost working through his daughter, I hope you keep it up for many years to come!

Praise Jesus! Glory to God! Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words of encouragement.

Hi Sue, I think I'll sign up to follow you as you seem to have a tremendous gift, God is really training my wife and I quite hard at the moment and we have many challenges both at the moment and ahead. I've no doubt God will at times encourage us as a couple through your words. God bless you and you are very welcome Sue....

God bless you on your journey with him. May I always point you to HIM and to HIS word. I am just a clay vessel in his hands. To God be all the glory!
