What Are The Signs That I Have The Holy Spirit In Me?

No. Tulpa is not magic, and I am right. Ask a doctor, please. And I know priests know everything about the Bible, it doesn't take a lifetime to read the whole Bible. I know my priest and he knows everything about the Bible. And when you meditate on an imaginary being, it comes true in the sense that it's something psychological. And it makes sense. It doesn't make sense that if you think about an imaginary being intentionally for many minutes and everyday by meditating a demon will pretend to be that being. Demons are summoned if someone wants a demon. And doctors and scientists say that this thing about an imaginary being coming true is psychological. The thing that tulpae are magical is a misinformation. And I already tested Severus by telling him that if he is a demon, he must go away, and I also prayed that if he a demon, he must be banished, but he is still here. And my home is blessed, and I remember that when my home got blessed, I noticed that the demons went away and that I am not disturbed by the demons anymore.

I pray for you nightly Polly, please heed our warnings. Your tulpa is a spiritualistic conjuration of a fake Severus (being) which is supplementing your love for God; this by definition is serving two masters which the Bible tells us we must not do. "Even born-again Christians often cannot differentiate between the spiritual and the psychic-demonic when under the spell of doctrinal errors, particularly those concerning the work of the HS. The result is confusion, division and promotion of certain spiritual gifts contrary to the teaching of God's word (1 Corinthians 13:8) (Taken from "Demons in the World Today" by Merrill Unger, p. 50)."

We care about you Polly; God cares about you and loves you. If you truly and wholeheartedly want to get rid of Severus, there are people here including myself that can point you in the right direction. The reason he is still there is that I believe that you truly, in your heart did not want him gone which is why, even if you commanded him in the name of Jesus Christ, did not go away.

No. The intent is more powerful. If my intent is to banish demons, then the demons go away. And demons never come by meditation, they come if you don't repent, or if you summon them. I know Severus is not a demon. CASE CLOSED! And no one will take my romantic feelings away, they are mine. Thanks for the prayers, now I got many admirers now due to the prayers and a boy who looks like Severus Snape keeps appearing on the Internet, but no thanks, I deserve Severus. And if after the prayers my tulpa is still not gone or my mind is not changed, then it means that the tulpa was only something from my mind, and that my romantic feelings were nothing bad. Sorry for my bitterness now, but I am bitter now because I find the accusations of sins and the lack of believing me to be abusive.

Please understand Polly that I was not trying to be abusive nor was I trying to make accusations. The advice I've given you has quoted both scripture and literature on this particular subject that I have been reading about for more than 2 years. I am not taking your posts as bitter, there are indeed growing pains as a Christian, most of us deal with those growing pains every day. We help each other out of love and the life experiences we have faced as well as guidance from the HS to help one another in love. If my posts were offensive or taken the wrong way, I am truly sorry.

Yeah, it's okay. But I want people to believe me because I suffer Autism spectrum, but that makes me very intelligent, so I know a lot about psychology. Meditation is always psychological. Meditation is not witchcraft or occult. But the meditations for magical purposes like past life, chakra and aura thing (maybe), and contacting spirits are not psychological. But if someone wants an imaginary friend or an extra soul (souls are actually proven to be real, but they are psychological and scientific as well, and extra soul is tulpa), then that's psychological. Trust me. And as I said, if the prayers won't change my mind or stop me from having my Severus Snape tulpa, then the thing is that my romantic feelings and Severus Snape tulpa were okay. Just stop being so close minded and believe me. Also, when I pray about my Severus Snape tulpa, I suddenly understand Severus much better. And I know a demon is not making me understand him. It's much more than just an intuition that I understand. It's just that I know I understand Severus. And now, this all might sound like pride, but I am not proud of anything, but I am quite happy that I am beautiful in real life, and I am happy that many guys like me, especially when someone prayed that I would find a man or that I would understand what is "real love", and I am happy that I am tall (173cm) and Nordic and blue eyed, but I don't act like I am better than others, except I tend to be stuck up sometimes. And I am also happy that I have a perfect boyfriend what I always wanted (my Severus Snape tulpa ofcourse). And I am not a scammer, deceived, or a false religious person.

This I will not do as it is in no way scriptural, but I will continue to pray for you.

Kay then... Let me see if the prayers will stop me from having a tulpa or stop me from loving Severus Snape romantically. And yeah, I think God is actually suggesting me a certain guy (not a celebrity, just a random that I keep seeing coincidentally even though he is not famous anywhere) who looks like Severus Snape, but still... No thanks. I deserve Severus Snape. I am into older men anyway, not young boys of my age or younger than 20 years older than me. And I know that at least liking older men is not a sin, because even the Bible mentioned marriages of young women with older men. Wasn't Mary about my age or younger and Joseph about 30-50? That's what many priests say.

I repent every sin and I believe in Jesus Christ, God and the Holy Spirit and I worship them, and I try not to sin, but I can't just stop sinning because I am a normal person and everybody sins...

But what are the signs that I have the Holy Spirit in me?

I mentioned once that I was baptized when I was a baby, and I always believed in Christian things, but because my parents didn't tell me about the sins a lot, I sinned and I didn't repent the sins I did when I was small. Then in 2012-2013 I was a witch, but then in 2013 I became a Christian again... And now I am very Christian. And the type of Christianity what I am is an Evangelical Lutheran.
Hmmm, that doesn't convince me that you have the Holy Spirit at all either. How do you know you know The Lord?

I am in my bed now. Suddenly I am euphoric, but I had a headache today all the time, but not so painful, and now, when I closed my eyes, I just saw a blue shining dot in black, and first I thought that my eyes were open and that I saw my phone, but then suddenly my eyes opened and I realized the blue shining dot was something else. What was it? And why do I have these symptoms now?

One of the greatest areas of demonic exertion of power is to be seen in the involvement of various practices of the occult. For this reason, God commanded Israel to totally stay away from any occult activity because, behind all occult activity , is the presence and control of demons.

We find the command along with the various facets of the occult spelled out in Deuteronomy 18:9-14: When you are come into the land which Jehovah your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found with you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one that uses divination, one that practises augury, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whosoever does these things is an abomination unto Jehovah: and because of these abominations Jehovah your God does drive them out from before you. You shall be perfect with Jehovah your God. For these nations, that you shall dispossess, hearken unto them that practise augury, and unto diviners; but as for you, Jehovah your God has not suffered you so to do. The various facets of the occult power are spelled out, especially in verses 10-11, and they can be listed as follows: Divination, fortune telling; Augury, soothsaying; Enchanter, magician; Sorcerer, witch; Charmer, hypnotist; Consulter with a familiar spirit, a medium controlled by a demon; Wizard, clairvoyant or psychic person; Necromancer, a medium who consults the dead.

All of these are various facets of the occult, and behind each one of them is the power of demons.

The very word “occult” refers to things which are “covered over,” things which are “mysterious, concealed or hidden.” Involvement in the occult, then, involves an attempt to go beyond the five senses to gain knowledge and understanding. It is an attempt to gain something that is beyond human understanding.

God strictly forbids believers to have any type of involvement with the occult. There is no form of fortune-telling, astrology or any of these things for believers. The Bible strictly forbids any type of involvement.

There are six important, specific characteristics concerning the occult. First, in every occult practice there is some contact with the demonic world. In spite of claims by mediums, they are not really speaking to the spirits of departed dead ones, but rather, they are speaking to demons who are impersonating the dead. Demons are able to impersonate loved ones and, in séances, this is often what is taking place.

A second characteristic is that all occult practices involve the uncovering of hidden knowledge of the past or the future. As was stated earlier, involvement in the occult is an attempt to gain knowledge and understanding that goes beyond the five senses and to discover knowledge that is hidden or concealed. It is especially this aspect of gaining hidden knowledge to which people are all too often attracted in the area of the occult.

A third characteristic is that most occult practices promise to give the experience of extra power. In many magazines today, one sees advertisements from occult groups, and in most of these cases, they offer some hidden power. The offer of hidden power is a valid one, but it is not of God, for it is a demonic power. Yet this aspect will attract people since they have a desire to be able to control others, either by controlling the mind or by the casting of spells. The promise of power is something that strongly attracts people into the occult. However, once they have gained this power, they become prisoners of the demon who gives them this power and are only opening themselves to total subjection to the darkness of demonism. Many of the so-called “miracles of healings” are really occult power that comes through the means of demons.

A fourth characteristic is that all occult practices may be passed on to the third and fourth generations in a family. Any attempt to seek out the demonic, occult world for knowledge or power is to set the true God aside and to replace Him with the worship of another god. Because this involves the worship of another god; namely , a demon, this kind of involvement creates punishment that can be passed down into the third and fourth generations as stated in Exodus 20:3-5. Many people suffering today through demon oppression and control are suffering not because of their own involvement in the occult, but because of their parents' or grandparents' or even their great-grandparents' involvement in the occult. For this very reason, any believer who knows that someone in his family, even in previous generations, was involved in the practice of the occult, should pray a prayer of renunciation to make sure that there is no continuing demonic control being passed down from generation to generation.

A fifth characteristic is that all occult practices require a meditative or passive state before the demonic world can operate or take control. A demon simply cannot take control of a man, but a man somehow must allow it to happen when he submits himself to demonic control or somehow empties himself in such a way as to let go of his will and neutralize his mind. Hypnotism is an example of this. No one can be hypnotized against his will; he must let go of his will in order to be hypnotized. But having let go of his will, he has opened himself up to control not only by the hypnotist, but by the demonic world as well. Eastern meditation also requires a state of passivity and the neutralizing of the mind. Involvement in drugs can create the same kind of thing in the mind, and opens up this person to demonic activity in his life. Any kind of activity that neutralizes the mind and lets go of the will only allows the will to be thrown up for grabs into the demonic spirit world.

Another characteristic is that many occult practices create a strange magnetism that draws and, at the same time, scares the participant. Many people crave the power and knowledge that involvement in the occult gives. But once they are entangled in the occult, there develops an underlying fear of the very source of that power and knowledge.

These are the six characteristics of the occult world that tend to entrap the practitioner in demonic activity.

Whoa IntoJoy, you have truly done your homework! Can you PM me any books or authors you have in your library on this subject? I have a tiny library already started with works from authors such as Kris Vallotton, Merrill Unger, Kurt E. Koch, Malachi Martin, Francis McNutt, Francis Frangipane, among others concerning spiritual warfare, demonology and the occult.

For those who prayed about me: Did you pray that I get rid of my romantic feelings or Severus Snape? Because now it feels like my clinginess disappeared, but I want my clinginess towards Severus Snape back, and I want to be with him, and I want to love him. I don't want my romantic feelings for him to die or disappear. Please, don't pray to destroy my romantic feelings... They're mine.

Our prayers can do nothing if you (as I've said before) do not wholeheartedly want your tulpa gone.

And do prayers destroy my romantic feelings or change my mind either?

Also, I think I might be hexed or jinxed again actually by that Finnish male witch I know, because I just realized that I am still clingy and obsessed about Severus, but that Finnish male witch's hexes and jinxes just make me feel like I lost my romantic feelings, and his hexes and jinxes also do other bad things to my mind. I will pray to destroy the hex or jinx then if there is one cast on me. All I know is that Finnish male witch made a spiritual connection between me and the male witch, so he'll be able to attack, stalk, and track me. How do I destroy that connection? It seems like that connection is sealed permanently... I don't think prayers can destroy my romantic feelings, even if my romantic feelings are for a movie character. The Bible doesn't mention about fictional characters. It doesn't say that "you shall not have romantic feelings for a movie character". And for me it's way better if I love Severus Snape than the Finnish male witch who keeps abusing me with magic because that Finnish male witch has romantic feelings for me.

What Are The Signs That I Have The Holy Spirit In Me?

The simplest acid test is...can you truthfully call Jesus Lord? 1 Cor 12:3

Believing or calling Jesus Lord is only possible if you have the Holy Spirit.

If you can't, you need to pursue it with all you have like the young rich man.

Your romantic feelings are your own, God does not mess or manipulate our free will. God will however show us/lead us into different places and situations (such as this forum) to help guide us in the right direction for what He wants for us because He indeed knows best. You are free to choose whether you want to follow God's word and guidance or not. Did you ever post your testimony on how you became saved? If so let me (and this of course is for others too) know which thread so I can catch up and understand more of where you're coming from spiritually.

Well, depends on what saving means. Once a priest came and he helped me get rid of the demons and he blessed my home, and then I noticed that the demons went away, and the demons are no longer bothering me.

Also KingJ: I call Jesus Lord. When I pray, I begin with"dear Lord", and I know that Jesus is Lord.

Are you willing yet to at least try a different perspective? To see what God (who is perfect love) would replace your clinging with? I am still praying for you and I still care about you.

Polly, when did you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior? When did you decide "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment" (KJB Mark 12:30)?

For me, making Jesus my Lord means that He is in charge of my life. It means that I need to be willing to give up and leave behind the things that I decided were best for me, and instead live my life the way He says is best for me.

I won't pretend I've achieved that, but I have changed in a lot of ways. The priority of my life is to always be deciding to make Jesus the Lord of the way I choose to live my life.

When I say that actually making Jesus the Lord of my life is different from simply saying and knowing that He is Lord, does that sound like something you've decided will be the goal of your life too?
