A terrific TRINITY Scripture passage

John 14:

16 And I will pray (to) the Father, and He will give you another Helper,
that He may abide with you forever

17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him
nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

23 … and We (God) will come to him and make Our home with him.

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Greek word here for ”another” is ”allos” meaning ”another of the same kind”.

A Question for you: Does the “We (God)” refer to …
2 Persons: Jesus and the Holy Spirit, or 3 Persons: all of the Trinity?
.

Once again it seems that you have missed the point my friend.

You left out verse #20 which is the key to the passage.

"At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father and ye in me and I in you.

WHAT DAY????? ..................................... "The Dispensation of the Holy Spirit"!!! TODAY!

In the day of the Holy Spirit they would recognize the relationship between the Father and the Son and themselves, Christ in the Father, the disciples in Christ and Christ in the disciples. The answer is based on obedience. The Father and the Son will COME only to those who love and prove their love by obedience, through the work of the Holy Spirit, both Father & Son will then make their home in the believer.

HOW COULD THAT BE???? Through the Holy Spirit. Christ had told these things to the disciples but it would be the Holy Spirit that would teach them ALL THINGS. The Spirit would also casue them to remember the things that Christ had told them. The ultimate fullfilment of this promise is the completion of the canon of the New Test. which is confirmed in 1 Corth. 13:8-10.

Wherever we read the Holy Bible, we can always "discern, perceive, understand the plurality" of GOD, both in the New and Old Testament books. This only proves that GOD is speaking in "parables and dark sayings of old" as it is written (Eze 20:49, Psa 78:2, Mar 4:34). Therefore, as it "is written," HUMAN WISDOM, that is, the use of the "intellect, senses, and feeling" can never allow us to "identify"

The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses and His TRUE name, so also
The GOD of Peter, James, John, and Paul and His TRUE name.

Hence, if we insist on relying on this "condemned human wisdom," we can NEVER NEVER know the TRUE GOD of the Holy Bible!

Why don't we accept what "is written" in the Old as well as in the New Testament regarding "God's miracle" of revealing the TRUTH or His "intended message" from His words?

In the Old Testament:

Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

In the New Testament:

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

God bless us all. Psa 56:10-13
