HOW DOES THE HOLY GHOST IN US MAKE US LIKE JESUS? THREE WAYS:

1. The Holy Ghost uses TRUTH to produce Christ-like character.

2 Timothy 3:15-17, Psalm 19:7-11, Psalm 119:9, 50, 105, 130, Colossians 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, Romans 15:4, 1 John 5:13, Psalm 1:2-3, Matthew 4:4, John 15:7, John 17:17, Ephesians 6:17, Acts 20:32

2. The Holy Ghost uses PEOPLE to produce Christ-like character.

Ephesians 4:11-16, Titus 1:13, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Hebrews 13:16-17, 1 Peter 4:8-10, 1 Corinthians 13:1-7, 1 Peter 5:5, Galatians 6:1-5, Romans 12:9-21, Matthew 5:23-24

3. The Holy Ghost uses CIRCUMSTANCES to produce Christ-like character.

2 Corinthians 4:17 (KJV) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

2 Corinthians 4:17 (NIV) For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

I don’t know if this is a pick and choose …..but I am going to go with this one

John 1:33.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the

with the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them
which heard the word.

many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was
poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

5. Enables Men To Speak With Authority

6. Fills Life With Healing Influences

I don’t know if this is a pick and choose …..but I am going to go with this one

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Yes, I agree, it's once, it's eternal, and at the time of salvation, which is before you are baptized.
