The nation state of Israel

This nation state being formed is probably the most stunning prophecy to take place in 2000 years .Yet you dont hear many people talking about the prophecies written of that little nation that have been forfilled in the last 63 years or so.
On most christian sites Ive visited ,many of the people seem to not understand what it is or what it represents.Insted of investigating the prophecies concerneng the kingdom ,they look elsewhere for beasts and antichrists, but not many people look at the obvious.
Just to see if anyone has been searching the scriptures I have a question to ask the board.

Can anyone here show me the verse in the bible that speaks of this little nation state dwelling in the pleasant land defeating three other nations? Can you show me the verse containing information on Israel defeating Egypt ,Syria and Jordan?

How many professing Christians realized that GOD expressed His "inspired words" by simply using the "language of man" with which the Bible is written? Thus:

God is speaking English to the Americans and British
God is speaking Spanish to the Spaniards
God is speaking Tagalog to the Filipinos
etc. etc.

With this fact therefore, people reading the Bible practically all claim they can understand it, thus, taking it as "history book, science book, morality book leading to religiosity."

However, this is what "is written" purporting to show that ONLY GOD can expound on His "intended message" thereof:

* Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
* Jer 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm...
* Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

And why is the following written, if only to emphasize the foregoing truth?

* Isa 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

* Luk 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Conclusion:

* 2 Tim 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

It appears that no one on this board knows this other than myself.
Do you know fil and just not saying?

God knows I have the best of intention to write about this truth that I read in the Sacred Scriptures. I hope participants on this Thread ponder about it. That only God can expound on the "letter" of His words for they are expressed in "parables and dark sayings of old" (Eze 20:49, Psa 78:2)

* Mark 4:34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

The foregoing was revealed to Paul in:

* 2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Strictly speaking, since the Holy Bible is more than a history book we have to be very very careful referring to current events that pertain to countries, personalities, and other matters that do not have bearing on the real purpose of God, which is spiritual salvation.

You have to be very very careful of prophecies being forfilled?
Why?

They are not true prophecies, they are not God's. God's will be fulfilled in His time not ours.

It appears your sticking you foot in your mouth.Your claiming that certain prophecies are not true when you dont even know what prophecies are being discussed here.
You shouldnt say something is not true when you have no idea what it is your talking about.

And just how is it known that I do not know! Also why must this be made personal?

I havnt quoted the verses that speak of the 1967 six day war in this thread.
I havnt quoted the verses that speak of who renderd the kingdom to the nation state of Israel or the verse that speaks of where the jews came from that formed the state. There are many verses that speak of these things but I havnt quoted any of them in this thread, yet you say those prophecies are not true.
Before you say something is not true, you should know what verses im speaking of.

Now the question put before this board is this.
Can anyone on this board show me the verse that speaks of the little nation that dwells in the pleasant land that defeated three others kings of that kingdom? If you knew the verse ,you would have quoted it yourself.Insted you said that prophecy is wrong.

Ive given several clues in this thread as to who this question is concerning.

Well since it seems that so much is none that others do not, then why is it simply not posted? It is not known, what I would or would not do, so as asked why was this made so personal?

Before you say something is not true, you should know what verses im speaking of.
Then, please, by all means, prove the statement wrong, instead of making digs at others!

You are the one who made the dig at me.
Ive read about the prophecies in the bible and understand them.
But you acting like a know it all said those prophecies of God were wrong.

No doubt you do not have a clue as to what prophecy Im speaking of even though I have given many clues as to which one it is.Insted of acting like a know it all you could have just said you didnt know.Or even better just not have said anything at all like the rest of the people on this forum. But you didnt do that .You had to make it personal be saying the prophecies of the little nation in the pleasant land were not true.

Assumptions are what get us to this point, FYI I was not even addressing you in the first place, so I will leave you to your angst and move on. Sorry it had to come to this.

Prophecy in the Scripture? This is what I read:

* 2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Why?

Because God uses this word "prophecy" to indicate that His words are expressed in parables:

* Ezekiel 20:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
* Psalms 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Hence,

What we read in the Holy Bible are "prophecies" that spiritually happen "all the time"
that only GOD can reveal through His very words, for it is written:

* Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Jesus Christ demonstrated this in the following:

* John 2:19 Jesus ... said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

LOOK!

* John 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

* Matthew 27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

BUT for the DISCIPLES:

* John 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

* John 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

fil ,Perhaps you dont understand the topic of this thread. It is speaking of the nation state of Israel as pertaining to prophecies.Thats all.

The verse speaking of the little nation in the pleasant land that is diverse from the others around it and subdues three of those is Dan 7;24.
And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

Its not a hard thing to understand if you dont think highly of the beast.
Oh ,and by the way .The scriptures says this little nation which dwells in the pleasant land shall oppress the saints that dwell there .Dan 7;25
And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Jesus said that little nation state shall oppress the saints as well.
Mat 23;34
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and [some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and [some] of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute [them] from city to city:

This little nation shall oppress the saints in all the cities of Israel.

Ps.All that I have said about the little nation state of Israel can be found if you look.
