Believe it or not there is a difference between evidence and proof. Evidence is all around you. The world’s existence is evidence for the case of God and the Bible is evidence for the case of Christianity. Proof on the other hand, I do not believe someone can give you on this topic. Sure we can mention plenty of “evidences” that would point to the proof but the only proof you are going to receive is when you have passed on. Previous posters have mentioned much evidence that leads to the proof but one must decide if the evidence is sufficient in their own mind if it is worth ones consideration of proof.
“Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.” Romans 14:5 (I think this passage may not be fully in context here but I do believe it does have a purpose within this discussion.)
I think "InHisLove" pointed us to a great passage which helps us Christians day in and day out to understand our "evidences". Thought, Love, reason, study, discernment, prayer and "evidences" that I have all around me have drawn me to my conclusion: There is more than enough evidence (inside & outside the Bible) for me to continue in my faith.
