Miracles still happen today all it takes is to put our faith into action (easily said, hard to do).

Quote:
Jas 2:14 My brothers, what profit is it if a man says he has faith and does not have works? Can faith save him?
Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16 and if one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them those things which are needful to the body, what good is it?
Jas 2:17 Even so, if it does not have works, faith is dead, being by itself.
Jas 2:18 But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith from my works.
Jas 2:19 You believe that there is one God, you do well; even the demons believe and tremble.
Jas 2:20 But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:22 Do you see how faith worked with his works, and from the works faith was made complete?
Jas 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God."
Jas 2:24 You see then how a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

Beware of false prophets who also do miracles, it is important to realise it is not man who accomplishes miracles but Jesus. Anybody who claims to do miracles but does not recognise Jesus as God is false.

And yet any willing vessel can be used of God to perform miracles. Those who deny His power are bordering on blaspheming the Holy Spirit, that is a place none want to go.

To a Christian the super natural should be quite natural.

Yes Keven .... This is so true. We don't have to run to anyone.... we just have to have faith to believe. We can be healed in our own homes..God still is a miracle working God.

If we will recognize in our daily living we are recieving miracles every day. Protection from accidents, good health and the list goes on.

And faith is the key. Jesus could not do many miracles in His hometown due to unbelief:
Mar 6:1 And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
Mar 6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Mar 6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Mar 6:4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
Mar 6:5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
Mar 6:6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
