What are you doing for New Year's Eve ???

Was just wondering what everyone was doing ?? Myself , I am going to our watchnight service at church where we usually start with fellowship and food in the gym at 9 PM and then at 10Pm go into the sactuary and have a service with testimonies and preaching and then just before midnight go to prayer and pray in the New Year.

Then after that have been invited to a friend's place to just chill and eat AGAIN. This eating has got to stop.... LOL

I will be spending the night with my oldest daughter who is....shall we say...an unbeliever? So there's no telling what we will be doing. Watching movies, I'm sure. She is open to opinions and is not adverse to hearing about the gospel, so pray for us!

Only I wish I knew a church like Dusty's where your eyes are on spiritual things. Norm has already told me we are going to "the boat" (gambling). We always do that on New Years. But, this year I really am not looking forward to it. I am a new person and I long to bring the new year in with prayer.

Any ideas of how to approach him without him thinking I'm no fun anymore?

And, yes, I will pray tonight that you have a good time with your daughter, Fluffy.

And Fluffy my dear , just pray that the Holy Spirit opens the door of oportunity for you. Just love her where she is at. That's what Jesus would do.

Watching the Uk basketball game at 12, then Watchin my Oregon Ducks at 2, and then Watching the UK football game at 4 =p

I'll be turning in at 8:30 PM as I usually do... my work in the Rectory Office starts at 04:30 every morning and New Year's Day is no exception.
