When I hear some one preaching gospels incorrectly, some people say wrong teachings leads to man made religion, I get angry. I had a similar situation at my work place. A friend of mine came to me who is also a Christian and told me that do not get angry if some one preaches the gospels incorrectly. Smile at them.

Then he told me the reason that I get angry because I don’t have the Holy Spirit in me. Is he correct?

I have confessed Jesus Christ as my lord in the begging of this year (2007).I kept praying and repenting every day. But I haven’t got baptized by water or holy smoke…etc. Therefore do I have the Holy Spirit in me?

I have prayed for some thing over six months and it’s something only GOD can give. And he gave it to me. That strengthens my relationship with GOD and Christ. What should I do to receive the Holy Spirit?

In one of my previous post I have asked few guide lines to find a church and one reason I need to find church is to get baptized to receive the Holy Spirit?

Hello, If you have received Jesus as Lord, then you do have the Holy Spirit within you.
Being baptised in the Holy Spirit is when God empowers us to walk the Christian walk, it should really happen at, or very close to, conversion, but for some people it doesnt.
Keep asking the Lord for His empowerment,
There is no problem,
Also, as soon as you can ,find out about water Baptism , as I believe there is an amazing spiritual change through this symbolic act, keep seeking after Jesus, spending time in the Word, dont be focused on what you get wrong,
if God feels there is something He will bring conviction and you will know you need to repent.
Seek after Jesus, seek fellowship with other believers and you will encounter the Holy Spirit.

Jax is correct, seek Jesus first and always. There are times if I hear something from God's Word that I think may sound odd I open my Bible (When I'm alone) and study the topic myself. None of us are perfect, even those who have been chosen to spread the word. Do not be of this world, reach inside and the Spirit of YHVH (GOD) will reveal Himself and supply the wisdom so you can see the TRUTH.
His Word (Bible) is one of His ways of speaking with us, so we should open and study our Bible Daily.


1 Corthians 2:10-14
10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? Having the SPirit of God does not necessarily mean one has died to that fleshly old man who causes all the trouble. One look at the church in Corinth confirms that.
One recieves the Holy Spirit at regeneration but scripturally there is a further act of grace called baptism in the Holy Spirit. Simply pray this with a believing heart:
Holy Spirit fall on me as at the day of Pentecost, fill me, empower me, teach me , lead me, guide me, reveal The Father and Jesus to me. I love you and want to fellowship with You- in Jesus Name amen.
He is gentle and loving and will not turn down an invitation to manifest the glory and power in your life!!!

Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

Now do I need a water baptism or any other Baptized technique?

Some may disagree, but I don't believe the bible says you have to be water baptised to be saved - but it certainly is another way of displaying to God and others, your dedication to Him. The full emmersion method symbolises the leaving of the old man - the bad habits, old life, etc in the waters and coming up a 'new man' in God. I was saved for a number of years before I was water baptised - I had a very pushy pastor telling me if I didn't do it, I wasn't going to heaven - if anyone can show me biblical background for this - please do. When I finally decided to have it done, it was because I felt at the right place in my walk to do it - to please God, not to please man.

Leonidus you should certianly be baptised as this is an act of obediance to our Lord and as Ausgirl has stated is symbolic of death, burial and ressurection.
We no longer follow rules out of obligation but joyfully out of love !
