There's some good stuff here. But there is lots of legalism intertwined in his solutions. I've been through legalism before and tasted the results. Legalism doesn't make people more holy. Legalism makes them more frustrated at the inability to become 'perfect' instead of accepting the Love of God that God has for us.

I could not have said it better myself. Legalism will always have you striving to improve your flesh- you wil wind up worn out and still in the same boat. Grace is God's unmerited favor, we partake of that by faith but the work is His.

I dont see how he is legalism... it seems he is preaching against it...

What about when he says that asking Jesus to come into your heart is a harrasey(sp)?

What about it- how about this:

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Aside from that error perhaps he seems to be a typical Southern Baptist style preacher.

To set the record straight I have nothing against any of my Baptisit brothers and spent quite a few years in a Baptisit Church.
