A periodic repost
I am not critical in any way but I fell as though there are many wounded souls here and
I just wanted to share this thought:

A church is a hospital for souls

Don't expect to go and not find anyone without at least as many problems as you have yourself.

If someone is hypocritical then church is the perfect place to get set free

Love more, look for faults less

If you want to be touched by God reach out and touch someone with His love

Love the unlovely

Be an encourager peolpe don't need to be told what their problems are but instead they are looking for answers so point them to Jesus for He is their answer

Support your church, it takes alot of finances to pay utilites, saleries, suplies etc., etc.

Be quick to forgive, give as much mercy as you yourself need (it's usually more than we think)

Don't take offense, see the people who hurt you thru Jesus eyes and your heart will quickly change

Words of wisdom, well spoken. Thankyou my son for your timely reminder as we all take time to step back and reassess our situations and enter a New Year with a greater sense of His presence in our lives with the intention of loving the unlovely as Jesus Christ would do.

He's My Lord, why?
The church and the world is full of people that dont have the same understanding as you, you cant always avoid them.
Jesus has called us to be light in the darkness, it could be that one word you bring sets someone free.
Jesus didnt say everyone would always agree with you or would make it easy, He said' Go and preach the Gospel', to every creature.
We are mixed bunch here, some are hurting, some are seeking, but you could make a difference.
You are never going to find a perfect church/forum/ group of Christians, as soon as you get to know them a little, they will be no different.
I sincerely think that is as good a place as any to share and to be part of something that God is doing.
It is the first forum I have been too, where the Word has gone forth in love, most just want to ram the Word down our throats but show no Grace, and that isnt God's way.

Please reconsider.

In accordance with her wishes HesMyLord has been removed. Not all are able to tolorate the different opinoins that are expressed here. One must understand that all manner of men are drawn to Jesus including the lame and the sick. He is the great physician and we are to love all who call on His Name.

Dear Jax.....I sent her a pm and she was not willing to accept all people for all things as she pmed me about certain things she did not like.... Hey ... if thats the way some people want to behave then what can you do ... just leave it with the Lord.and pray for them.

And you are so right about this forum.... The love that eminates from here is very possitive and God is our healer and our judge. I personally want to try to be a better person and love everyone from wherever they come from or their background. I think that is all Jesus asks us to do.

I am so glad to be here after all you and I went through on the other so called Christian forum. You went though worse than me. But that is then and this is now and we must live in the now and let Jesus look after all.

I live in a multicultural neibourhood and the same with my church but that has made me understand people a lot better and I love all the differences. I was born here but am in the minority as a Canadian but that does not bother me.I embrase it all cause isn't that what heaven will be like.?
