I do not want to kill a dead horse but I am under the impression that a Church is a building created as a site for Religion and Worship. The Church is not messed up, it is it's members who have a problem.

Actually bilically speaking the church is the ekklesia or called out ones meaning the actual people:
G1577 ἐκκλησία ekklēsia ek-klay-see'-ah From a compound of G1537 and a derivative of G2564; a calling out, that is, (concretely) a popular meeting, especially a religious congregation (Jewish synagogue, or Christian community of members on earth or saints in heaven or both): - assembly, church. The early church met in homes and not buildings. Indeed one may have a church buiding but the actual "church" is the people who make it up. |

Thank you! I guess I was coming from my other life as a Planner as well as from when I had classes in the Old Testament and we actually studied the religious buildings and their sizes at that time showing how small they were. Because of this any religious activity was conducted outside of them. Also that the outsides were very fancy but the insides were just the oposite. |

On sundays we meet at a convention center and on week days we meet at homes/restaurants/schools etc etc. We don't have a building yet but our pastor is looking to buy one. We have around 4000+ members and meetings usually happen in two sessions.
