My parents want to visit Israel next year.

Any input on the travel plans are welcome. I'm interested in visiting Egypt also.

If you want to go with a very good organization may I recommend these Christian people who have offices in UK, Canada ,and Us . Here is their web site and they have a Bible tour going in March. I am a personal friend of the president for the Canadian office and plan to go next Nov, with them. They are very reasonable as well.

Nope, haven't been there.

I heard horror stories from my Archeology professor in college. She told how they stopped the tourists bus and then did a search of everybody while armed guards stood nearby. Scared me.

Scared me, because I'd want to pick up a rock wherever we stopped, just to say I'd been there. The guards might find me standing by the bus with pockets bulging with rocks!

Years ago when Russia was communist I went there and they lined us all up at the border and that was scary. We thought we were all going to go under gun fire and they confiscaited all the friuits that we had bought.

Never did go to Israel, I would love to. I did see the nile from 30,000 feet up.
