Ken, I see your "copy and paste" works fine.

blessings,
Ken
Of coarse John said "No". Memory doesn't stay with new "reincarnation". Why did you assume that memory stays with new "reincarnation"? Only Lord knows who is who!

Or you think Elijah knew better then Jesus?

Matthew 11
14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah, who was to come.

But maybe the following will open your eyes, Ken. Please compare the description of how they both looked:

Elijia description in 2 Kings 1:8
8 So they answered him, “A hairy man wearing a leather belt around his waist.” And he said, “It is Elijah the Tishbite.”
John description in Matthew 3:4
4 Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

Is it another Bible "coincedence"? Does the way they dressed only prove that one came in "spirit and strength"? Or is it another proof that Elija's soul and John's soul is the same?

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Nobody argues that the man is destined to die once. But the soul lives forever. I hope you know that fact. At least the soul of the believer.

OK, Boanerges , let's have it your way. Please tell me how Matthew 11:14 sounds in the original text. Because all translations that I looked up it says THIS IS ELIJAH, nowhere I could find your word THIS IS SIMILAR TO ELIJAH. Or you are telling us that your abilites to translate is better than everybody's else? Please give me the original text that you read of Mat 11:14 and we will translate it. And then I will prove that you are playing dangerous game and adding words to Jesus.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Don't be afraid for me brother I am safely in Jesus arms. I present facts you ignore them- that is your choice and your priviledge. I respect your right to your opinion- have a blessed day.

Common courtesy
Rule 2.1
Common courtesy and civil dialogue is expected from all participants. Common courtesy is a generally understood concept and too broad to fully define here. In short, if you have doubt on whether you should say something, DON'T!

Rule 2.2
If someone disagrees with you do not immediately jump to the conclusion that they are not truly saved just because they disagree, there are differences of opinion in translating Biblical doctrine.
