Do you ever think your not repenting enough? I've turned away from some things, but always think its not enough.

All things are now new.

I certainly think a lot different now, is that too the work of The Lord?

I also think that we turn from more than we actually realise. Thanks to faith.

Correct me if i've misunderstood this whole thing please.

First you repent to the Lord, ask for forgiveness, Then you have to forgive yourself.

God doesn't wait around, its like, "Lord, Forgive me, I repent" and then Gods like, "Well come on then, lets move".

We must repent to come to the Master but even then it is not on the basis of our ability we are saved. If you get to hung up on fighting the flesh in your own strength you will become burnt out, frustrated or worse. To concentrate on the flesh and wrestle with it's problems is like white washing a tomb as you can only deal with the external. " In my flesh dwells no good thing". Repent of what the Holy Spirit convicts you and trust God . Keep your eyes on Christ and you will find the pull of the flesh weakens. The more we see of Jesus the less the world appeals to us and the more we become like Him.
2Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
