Genesis 1:20-22

And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth."

Interestingly, the first blessing in the Bible was given by God Almighty to water creatures and birds. God loves His creations and blessed these creations of His to multiply and be fruitful.

Not all sea creatures or birds may look beautiful to us, but for the Creator, whatever He created looked good.

Our appearance may not be pleasing to all, but God loves us all the same.
Remember, you are His creation and He loves you just as you are.
Praise the Lord.

I am trying to teach this to my very beautiful eleven year old.
She is very disatisfied with her looks as she transforms from a girl into a young woman, she also has a very sensitive nature and is tall for her age, not a good combination when you dont want to stand out!
I have been explaining to her, that whilst it is nice to look good on the outside, that beauty comes from within.
She is very modest and hates clothes that many teenagers wear that reveals a lot of flesh, so she understands the concept, but she is at the age where she is having to choose what she believes above what her friends want her to do/look like,
it is a battle,
but I am praying that she will get the revelation that God see's the heart, He doesnt judge by the outward covering, and as Christians we too have to look beyond what we can see.

Jax it is an interesting world we live in. A supermodel make make millions and have people come from all over the world to see and photograph this image of " lovelyness" . At the same time this " beauty" is walking the runway thinking " my thighs are to fat" or "my nose is to long or wide" or whatever else a human can get hung up on. True beauty radiates from within. There is nothing more attractive than one who has found peace with who they are by learning to see themselves thru the eyes of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Thankyou for that as in this world we live in with all the commercials and me ads. I get so tired of them saying and I'm worth it. It must be so hard a a parent of a young girl like Jax says to bring them up without this selfish attitude and not to look on the outside because true beauty does come from within as your love for he Lord is projected to others and these are the people that we want to be around.
