Everyone draws their line in a different spot. What is temptation for some, may not be a problem for others. I know some of the early church rules seem ridiculous to me. Whoever made some of those rules, HAD to have some strange perversions since it appears that a woman's wrist was enough to cause them to commit the sin of lust.

I have to agree with Ban. There are different spots where people draw the line. Look at muslim women and what they have to wear versus an average dressed female in our society.

maybe in them days it was a bit like the nuts calander of naked women, the smallest exposure aroused them, lets put it another way your imagination doesn,t need to run wild these days,it,s all on show.nearly gone full circle to garden of eden.but in eden they knew nothing of sin.so if you read jesus ,he tells you who made men and women.

I myself think that both men and women dress on dangerous ground.
We saw one guy at the mall the other day wearing his pants around his knees (no joke); he had on a big over-stuffed jacket that one might imagine Alvin wearing from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I thought...yeeesh, if he'd just pull his pants up, he wouldn't have to look for such a long jacket! ![]() Then there were women wearing these tiny tanktops (as cold as it was). ...but! Whatever makes them comfortable, I suppose. *shrugs* |
