My dad used to work as a logger before I was born, so he'd get up when it was still dark to go to work.

One time, he told me, Mom got up half-sleep and made his lunch with her eyes half-open; then she went back to bed before he left.

He worked hard out in the woods all day long and was starving by the time they broke for lunch.

He opened up his lunch pail and found a mayonaise sandwich...Mom was half-sleep and forgot to put the meat in!!!

I got one like that.
My mom used to make my dad's lunch everyday. Well one year shortly after easter it seems there was a mix-up between the hard-boiled eggs and the regular ones. My dad decided to quit cracking his eggs over his head that day.
