  • The distinction between Christianity and all other systems of religion consists largely in this, that in these others, men are found seeking after God, while Christianity is God seeking after men.--Thomas Arnold
  • Does being born into a Christian family make one a Christian? No! God has no grandchildren.--Corrie ten Boom (Each New Day)

A normal Christian should be one who is totally consecrated. Our Christian confession is our primary profession; this is not something that we do on the side.

The love of God is vast ... the love of God is incomprehensible . He is the Alpha and Omega ,The Beginning and the End. When we reflect upon His goodness and mercy and great Love where else can we go but to the cross .... the cross where we first found love .... the greatest love story ever told. The story of perfect Love. Our beginning and our end until eternity.

We should dedicate ourselves to becoming in this life the most
perfect worshippers of God we can possibly be, as we hope to be
through all eternity.

We may be truly said to worship God, though we lack perfection;
but we cannot be said to worship Him if we lack sincerity.

"The greatest enemy of hunger for God is not poison but apple pie.It is not the banquet of the wicked that dulls our appetite for heaven, but endless nibbling at the table of the world.It is not the X-rated video, but the prime-time dribble of triviality we drink in every night.For all the ill that Satan can do, when God describes what keeps us from the banquet table of his love, it is a piece of land, a yoke of oxen, and a wife

(Luke 14:18-20).The greatest adversary of love to God is not his enemies but his gifts.And the most deadly appetites are not for the poison of evil, but for the simple pleasures of earth.For when these replace an appetite for God himself, the idolatry is scarcely recognizable and almost incurable.”
John Piper
