This quote was attributed to George Carlin in the early 1970's:

"If everyone around you is running around wildly, screaming and yelling in panic and you are standing there cool, calm and collected; perhaps you don't understand the situation."

While this is kind of funny even today, it is also a sad commentary on how some persons are so wrapped up in their own lives, that they are completely impervious to what goes on around them... I guess the best description would be - 'clueless'.

Make time for family. Make time for friends. Make time for God and your life will be much more rewarding.

To that Pastor Gary. We in our countries have so much wealth compared to other third world countries and yet people are so grumbling and unsatified with what they have and want more and more. Give his Christmas .... give to a needy family,share the love of Jesus. You will see how the Lord will give you a greater joy than the world in all it's hustle and bustle cannot understand.

That's quite alright, Dusty. 'Greatest Quotes' (or even some of those that arent so great...LOL) can be used to discuss the meaning of the quote or give your own interpretation. We are all here to learn and a quote may mean one thing to someone and something different completely to someone else. If we discuss these, then we learn as to what the other person saw in that quote and we become more wise in our new understanding.
