Only 2,455 adults surveyed? While I would love to believe that this represents a true cross section of the American public, this poll could have been a questionaire placed in the bulletin of a couple of the churches I have been to. Considering that the results were published by Reuters U.K. I have to wonder under what context, or intent the poll was offered, as well as where those questioned reside in the U.S. I place little value in surveys and polls,especially those claiming to represent the views of an entire populace, because normally they are sourced from only a minute fraction of that populace, just as this one was.
