I didn't remember that. (You just gave me about 10 hours of fun research.) ![]() I just love digging into these parts of Scripture. (Let's see now,.... where did I leave my concordance???)....

The only thing that I ever tried like this as a Christian, was once when my daughter was having nightmares. We asked a local pastor to come to our home and bless her room. Instead, he brought olive oil and anointed her and her room with a prayer. It seemed to work, she started sleeping much better and the nightmares went away.

I have personally witnessed as it not only calmed and soothed, but I saw it remove cancer. The cancer was there, it was on the X-rays, the doctor could feel the tumors, we prayed, the cancer was gone. But I also believe that Gods Grace can and does manifest in the physical as well. There is something very signifigant about the water in Baptism. And in the elements during Holy Communion. And in the Word becoming flesh. It is "True Presence" To me, much of this remains what I call Divine Mystery. But it is glorious, and observable none the less. All Praise and Glory be to God. |
