THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.

There are many reasons people don't go to a "Building" called church.
One is disability; then there are some who have no church nearby and no transportation, or you are of one belief and cannot find a church that feeds your spiritual needs. Anyone who wants to attend church in a building will not look for an excuse not to go.
And anyone who is NOT interested in God's word is not going to bother with an online church anyway.
But think of those who just may stumble across it and find God!

Default Church by TV/Computer!

I agree with those who are at home/in hospitals and are not able to go to church for many good reasons using the TV or Computer for this need. My thought focused to those who can attend but do not. As a hospital chaplain I am aware of the needs of many and see the good TV and Computers can and do play in their salvation.

This may sound a bit off the wall, but I tried a video game not long ago called Second Life. It's a virtual 3d world type thing, and I was curious what it looked like. It turned out to be too slow on my iMac G5 and full of too many things I didn't need to see and hear.

But...I did locate a Christian 'city' complete with a church that held regular Sunday services. A virtual world, with virtual people, worshipping God in this game. A novel concept to reach people that might not ordinarily attend a physical church.
