No, Jesus speaks of this. He said that in the end when he judges people will come to his saying didnt we prophesy in your name, clothe the sick, etc. and Jesus turns them away and calls them Workers of iniquity. iniquity means sin. If you purposly do not repent to Jesus untill the last minute. I dont think you will get away with that . But if you truly mean it in your heart and you just come to believe right beofore you die and ask for forgivness, I believe you are forgiven.

I've heard this argument before. "I'll just repent on my deathbed"...I'm sorry, but I don't think you can PLAN to repent. That's not sincere repentance. Why do people think they can trick God? That is arrogance to think we are more clever than God. I once had a friend that said he and God would have to have a long talk when he dies. All I could think of was that this "talk" wouldn't be as long as he thought it would be.

That definition would not fit the person in the op as they would certainly not prophesy in your name, clothe the sick, etc. I have seen several accept Christ and become born again on their deathbed as witnessed by the Spirit of God. Does that mean this person will get saved? Probably not, try as they might nobody outsmarts God. Does this mean one cannot get saved in this case? The grace of God is more powerful than you know and if this hypothetical person genuinely repents at the last moment he could be saved. Should anyone live their life based on this chance? No. Could such a scenario happen? Possibly. Condsider this scripture:

Mat 20:4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
Mat 20:5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
Mat 20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
Mat 20:7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
Mat 20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
Mat 20:9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
Mat 20:10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
Mat 20:11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
Mat 20:12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
Mat 20:13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
Mat 20:14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
Mat 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

I do not reccomend anyone live so foolishly but while one lives it is still possible to find salvation. Jesus died for the sins of all and the Father is willing that none should perish. It is appointed once for a man to die and then the judgement. Let us find ourselves under the blood of Christ as none of us is in the least bit worhty on our own.

Nope, can not go to heaven. It doesn't matter even if he lead a completely sinless life, he is not got to get to go. Here is why:

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 or 8 I think.

If you do not belive that Jesus is lord and savior and died on the cross for your sin, that he was burried and rose on the third day as a man and later rose to heaven as a man than you are not saved. If you are not saved and you are not going to heaven regardless of how much you repent.

What this man seeks will never happen as he is assuming he controls the circumstances of his life where and when he will die etc. God says that "Today is the day of repentence." There is no true hope for tomorrow if we harden our hearts to God's voice today always saying "Later Later I will repent." He is on very shakey ground and needs to be solemnly warned and prayed for. gratefulgrace
