When I was a youngster. (About 12 or so.)
I remember being taught a mantra... "You Red Butted Beast, I Boast You Into Battle!" I was told that if you sit in a dark room, with a Ouija board in your arms, and face a mirror, and speak this mantra, and stare into your own eyes in the mirror.... Your Evil self, would bridge the gap between the two worlds, and reach out from the mirror and grab you! ![]() Scared the crud out of me! Today, I look back at how a few kids, with a Parker Brothers game and a mirror can scare the schnozzles out of one another. And I understand how Psychiatrists can make 200 bucks an hour to tell you that deep down you really hate your mother. My point is: The human mind is DESIGNED to look for faces. And to recognize expressions. God designed us that way, so that we would recognize our parents from birth. And as a defense against people who intend to do us harm. This is why we tend to see shapes in clouds, and obscure ink blots. (Duckies, and Spiders, etc.) Although, I am unable to make a face out of this photograph, others may be able to. My point is: Dont let what you think you see frighten or compell you. If you do see a face, it is your own minds ability to recognize facial features in inanimate patterns. My advice is to give thanks to God for that ability, and move on. ![]() JMHO. |
