Sometimes I have an idea in my head that I wish to back up with scripture. I go to the scripture I'm thinking of, only to discover it doesn't say what I was thinking it did. Happens a little too often for my comfort. When I want to vehemently argue a point, I try to check the Scripture first. The taste of foot gets old in a hurry. Crow tastes about the same, but gamier. Humble pie is one of the few pies I don't care for. My own words taste okay, a little bland, perhaps, but they sure are scratchy going down.

If one is rroted and grounded in scripture one will not be put to shame. Many different types of people will come along to challenge your faith. Most will attempt to do this in front of all you friends, fellow workers or other folks you have been witnessing to. Some are from cults, some are God haters, some just like to belittle Christ and some are just confused. If one (by the Holy Spirit) has feed his spirit man well ,when the time of testing comes the Word of God will flow freely out of his mouth. You will not struggle as to what to say as the Holy Spirit will bring the Words- truly out of your innermost being will flow rivers of Living Waters. Not only the Word of God but the very life and anointing of God will flow touching all who hear and God WILL be greatly glorified.

Notice there are 4 things we must do in every service if we want to hear from heaven.

1. We must humble ourselves.
2. We must pray.
3. We must seek His face.
4. And we must turn from our wicked ways.

I like to underline and highlight points that speak to me. That way when I am thumbing through my Bible later I always will remember them. I almost ran my pen out of ink in Psalms and Proverbs.
